The development characteristics of gully and the spatial differentiation of gully are important parameters for studying gully erosion, and have important guiding significance for the prediction and monitoring of gully erosion. This article is based on Google Earth remote sensing imagery,Taking the mountain basin area in northwestern HeBei as the study area,Choose 225 gullies in 6 three types of small watersheds.Extracting the basic morphological parameters of the gully to explore its developmental characteristics;Extracting distance between grooving and grooving, distance between gully and watershed and other indicators and analyzing the spatial differentiation law.The position of the ditch head is extracted and the spatial pattern analysis of the ditch head is carried out;and the classification of the trench in the study area is discussed. The main findings are as follows:(1)The development of gully is basically consistent in the respective areas of agricultural land small watershed, grassland small watershed and woodland small watershed.Under the three types of land use,the gully erosion density is the small watershed of the agricultural land > the small grassland of the grassland > the small watershed of the forest land. The forest land has the best effect in the process of controlling soil erosion.(2)The distance between grooving and grooving in the basin has a concentrated range of spacing, but there is a significant difference in the distance between grooving and grooving in the same watershed regardless of the type of land use.According to the length of the interval, the small grassland has a certain advantage over the small watershed in the agricultural land. The range of the small watershed in the forest is larger, and the control range of the distance between grooving and grooving can reach 60 meters. Therefore, the forest land has absolute advantage to control the distance between grooving and grooving.(3)There is a significant difference in the distance between gully and watershed which is in the same watershed of the type of land use.Grassland small watersheds and woodland small watersheds have obvious advantages in controlling critical slope length, but there is still the possibility of cutting trenches in a place close to the watershed. The distance range of the grassland small watershed and the forestland small watershed is roughly the same.(4)Through the field research, the gullies found in this paper are divided into: slope gully, hanging gully, bank gully, and floor gully. The slopes found on the roads and the trenches on the side walls of the roads are considered to be caused by engineering road repairs. The amount of erosion in the bank gully is huge, and the lateral development is also relatively rapid, and it is easy to form a double-headed gully. The influence of human factors is the main factor in the development of the floor gully in the cultivated farmland, and the gully is easy to aggregate to form a larger gully.(5)Judging from the distribution of the overall groove head position in the basin, the development of the gully and the resulting spatial agglomeration. The spatial scale of the random distribution of the gully in the small watershed of the farmland is much smaller than that of the grassland small watershed and the small watershed. In the case of a small range, the spatial distribution can be expressed as a clustering distribution, indicating that the human factors in the agricultural land are strongly disturbed.Easy to produce and develop. The production of gullies in grassland and woodland watersheds is more random and mostly natural.
