| Plant growth regulator controls the growth and development of garden plants which have great economic and social benefits in the creation and maintenance of landscape plants.However,there are numerous types of garden plants and new types of plant growth regulators,but the study of its use concentration and application time is less.Therefore,it is very important to carry out experimental research and application of new plant growth regulators on flowers.In this experiment,Zinnia elegans and Tagetes erecta were used as test materials.Brassinolide,‘pollen fermant’ and gibberellin were used as the treatment,and fresh water treatment was taken as the control.The application time,concentration and effects of the mixture were researched in order to provide technical support for the further use of ‘pollen fermant’ and brassinolide to regulate the growth and development of annual flowers,and to provide guidance for exploring the efficient,high-quality cultivation and raising their ornamental value.Main results for this study are as follows:(1)The spraying of gibberellin at the seedling stage and the bud stage respectively could make the initial flowering date of Zinnia elegans ahead of control.Spraying 2 times of gibberellin at a concentration of 100mg/L at intervals of 10 days at the seedling stage could advance the flowering date of Zinnia elegans by 5 days and promote the increase of plant height,leaf area,flower diameter and number of flowers,respectively increased by 62.57%,11.61%,4.24%,62.57% than control.The chlorophyll content,soluble protein and soluble sugar content had different degrees of growth and the activities of POD and SOD respectively increased by 38.27% and 14.86%.Both treatments with ‘pollen fermant’ and ebrassinolide could delay the initial bloom stage of Zinnia elegans,it was recommended that spraying 0.02 mg/L brassinolide twice at the seedling stage could be used as the optimal treatment,which could delay the initial flowering period by 3 days and significantly promote the growth and development and the accumulation of nutrients of Zinnia elegans,and make the plant height,leaf area,flower diameter,and number of flowers respectively increased by 27.79%,43.64%,11.42%,and 52.63% compared with the control.The best treatment is to spray brassinolide 2 times with 0.02mg/L at the seedling stage.Secondly,it was recommended to spray 800 times dilute of the ‘pollen fermant’ 2 times during the bud stage.(2)The first-flowering date of Tagetes erecta with 3 three kinds of treatment agents was earlier than control and the best treatment was spraying brassinolide 2 times with 0.015 mg/L at the seedling stage.It had the best promoting effect on the diameter and number of flowers of Tagetes erecta,which was 18.23% and 40.38% higher than that of the control with a significant level.The first-flowering dates was advanced by 9 days,and at the same time,the plant height,stem diameter,and leaf area were promoted.Followed by spraying 800 times dilute of the ‘pollen fermant’ 2 times during the seedling stage.(3)This part experiments explored the effects of using mixture by three plant growth regulators on the growth and development of Zinnia elegans and Tagetes erecta.Comprehensive analysis of the primary and secondary effects of each indicator showed that gibberellin was the main factor,followed by ‘pollen fermant’ and brassinolide.Spraying T9 treatment(gibberellin 100 mg/L + brassinolide 0.02 mg/L)2 times is recommended for using on Zinnia elegans.The first-flowering date was 3 days earlier than the control,but there was no significant difference between treatments and control in the overall florescence.However,T9 treatment could increase the plant height,leaf area,flower diameter,and number of flowers of Zinnia elegans by 28%,18%,12% and 16% respectively compared to the control,all reached significant levels.It not only increased their ornamental value,but also increased the chlorophyll content,soluble protein,and soluble sugar content in flowering stage to varying degrees.And the antioxidant enzyme activities of POD and SOD was respectively 2.18 times and 2 times of the control.The comprehensive evaluation value of spraying T10(gibberellin 100mg/L + ‘pollen fermant’100-fold dilution + brassinolide 0.02mg/L)2 times was highest on Tagetes erecta,which was 0.717.It could make plant height stem diameter,branch number,flower diameter and flower number of Tagetes erecta increased by 65%,23%,14%,17% and 56% respectively.The flowering period was 12 days longer than that of the control.The first-flowering date of T10 treatment was 17 d in advance than control and the florescence was extended by 12 days. |
