Molecular Epidemiological Investigation On Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea In Jilin

PED is a highly contagious intestinal disease caused by PEDV.The clinical symptoms of it is vomiting,diarrhea,dehydration and the serious can lead to death.The result showed that the illness has changed from the major season(from November to march)to the full year.The positive rate of aquaculture is 52.24% and the slaughterhouse disease is achieved 1.87%,all stages can be infected,especially the sucking pig,the rate of it infected is 100% and the death is 80%-100%.As the vaccine immunity can’t effectively control this disease,the PEDV has a new variety in Jilin which is different from the foreign.In order to provide a more comprehensive theoretical basis for the prevention and control of Jilin area,especially showing the change of gene and its principle,we analysis the local virus srains gene by RT-PCR,in order to find a emergency method to reduce the economic damage and avoid the risk.This study is carried out: Using the design primers of Primer 5.0,310 infected materials from 6 coutries 46 pig farms were analysised by RT-PCR,the PCR products were sequenced by Shanghai Biochemistry.The result shows that 19 positive in 49 pig farms,the positive rate was 41.3%,and 80 are positive in 310 materials.the positive rate was 25.8%;the positive rate in Yong ji is highest with 58.33%,HuaDian is the lowest with 16.67%;winter is the most explosive season in pig farm and infected materials.
