China has a large population,while arable land resources are relatively scarce,and food is in danger of being in short supply.To ensure food security,basic farmland must be protected and basic farmland must be designated.However,in the actual delineation and management of basic farmland,the “centralized” management of basic farmland is not emphasized,and often shows that the quality of cultivated land is not high and the layout is relatively fragmented.Therefore,this paper takes the case of Panshi City,Jilin City,Jilin Province as an example to study and sum up the related research results of domestic and foreign scholars on the contiguous nature of basic farmland,describing the basic overview of the study area,and using the spatial autocorrelation analysis method and fuzzy The texture quantification method was combined with ArcGIS and GeoDa software for grid analysis,spatial autocorrelation analysis,spatial density feature analysis and spatial concatenation analysis.Based on the above analysis,the characteristics of concentrated contiguous farmland were studied,and basic farmland was analyzed.The contiguous nature of space and the delineation of contiguous areas of basic farmland are used to determine the rationality of basic farmland delimitation and provide reference for the protection and planning of basic farmland in Panshi City.The main research results are:(1)Grid analysis of basic farmland is conducive to the analysis of its spatial distribution characteristics.Based on GIS-GeoDa calculation of density index and texture index,comprehensive consideration of the spatial distance and farmland quality affect the contiguous nature of basic farmland.Factors can quickly extract the basic farmland contiguous area.(2)The basic farmland in Panshi City has a good concentricity in the overall space.Among them,the basic farmland of Yantongshan Town,Jichang Town,Hulan Town,and Chaoyangshan Town is closely connected,and it is mainly distributed in the northwest,west and east of Panshi City,mainly in Pingchuan,and in Fuan.The basic farmland in Puma Town,Niuxin Town,Songshan Town and other regions are concentrated and common.They are mainly distributed in the northeast and southeast regions.These regions are mainly hills and low mountains from the topography.(3)The area of the basic farmland contig in Panshi City accounts for 47% of the total cultivated land.It is mainly distributed in Baoshan Township,Chaoyangshan Town,Hulan Town,Jichang Town,Shizui Town,and Yantongshan Town.The city’s basic farmland with high arable land quality and contiguous nature is mainly distributed in the southeast of Panshi City,with an area of 384.11 hectares.The basic farmland with low arable land quality but good contiguousness is mainly distributed in the northwest and southwest regions,with an area of 13,218.14 hectares.In the next round of demarcation of basic farmland,the basic farmland in these two types of areas can improve the quality of cultivated land and increase the degree of continuation through certain measures so as to achieve concentrated and high-quality arable land.
