Strain selection is now the foundation of modern poultry breeding work.We select the best combination set through line hybridization in the production of commercial chicken to improve the performance of group production property and economic benefits.In this experiment,the growth,development,slaughtering and meat quality performance measurement of 6 pure lines and their 4 combinations were tested to select the best matching combinations.The economic benefits of the four combinations were analyzed in combination with the market price and the comprehensive cost at the same time.It is of great significance to meet the needs of diversified market and improve the culture benefit of aquaculture.The main test results are as follows:(1)The results of growth performance for pure lines are as follows:TH105:after two generation selections,the hens' body weight increased and the day it lays eggs is advanced to 167 day,the birth weight and 300-day weight increased to 2330 g and 2870 g,respectively.The egg number it lays during 300 days increased to 77.TH201:after two generations of breeding,the weight of hens increased,the day it lays first egg is advanced to 157 d,its birth weight increased to 1470 g,the weight of eggs and the egg number significantly increased and its egg number during 300 days significantly increased.HS1:after two generations of breeding,the egg number it lays at 300 days old increased to 100.67.HS2:the body weight at first egg and its egg number for 300 days significantly increased.LH:the laying day for first-egg is pushed back to 163 day,the body weight is obviously increased by 2.9%at the age of 300 days old.TF03:after 4 generations of breeding,the hens' body weight had obvious growth trend,and the body weight at first-egg laying day was obviously heavier than the other three generations.The egg production of 300 days old significantly increased.(2)The results of appearance characteristics of different crosses showed that:PT01 has large,round and square body,thick and puff plumages.Cock,s plumage is puniceus with sheen.Hen,s plumage mainly is spotty yellow,tail is black,with blue grey beak and shanks.PT02:rectangle body,closed plumage,strong body,red erect.Cock is a floral feather with yellowish red except that it,s primaries and secondaries are black.Hen,s plumage is spotty yellow.Blue grey beak and shanks.HN01:rectangle body,flat and wide back.Beak is wide and short,yellow beak and shanks.Cock,s surface color is spotty yellow,primaries and secondaries are black or mixed with black spots.Hen,s plumage is yellow,primaries and tail are black.HN02:medium type,read erect single comb,blue grey beak and shanks.Cock,s plumage is golden,main tail feather are black,dark yellow secondaries,Hen,s feather is spotty black.(3)The results of growth performances for the crosses among the lines are as follows:the fertilization rate of hatched eggs is from 89%to 92.7%,and the hatching rate is from 82.02%to 91.01%.The growth of four crosses follow a certain growth rule and appears as the S-type,and all of them have a rapid growth before 11 weeks,then slow down from 11 to 14 weeks,followed an increase after 14 weeks.The PT01 cocks weigh 2.56 kg and hens weigh 2.00 kg respectively at 95 days.The weight of PT02 cock and hen were respectively 2.42 kg and 1.91 kg.The weight of HN01 cock and hen were respectively 1.78 kg and 1.34 kg,respectively.The weight of HN02 cock and hen were respectively 1.75 kg and 1.34 kg,respectively.The body weight of 120-day-old PT01 cock and hen were respectively 2.56 kg and 2.21 kg.The weight of PT02 cock and hen were respectively 2.57 kg and 2.11 kg.The weight of HN01 cock and hen were respectively 1.86 kg and 1.46 kg.The weight of 120-day-old HN02 cock and hen were respectively 1.87 kg and 1.45 kg.(4)The results of slaughter and meat quality test for crosses are as follows:The PT01 combination has good meat performance with tender skin,low fat and high protein,good meat quality and good nutrition,the visceral organs are well developed and the utilization rate of nutrients is high.The meat quality is common for cross PT01 and PT02,their nutritional compositions are better than other breeds,and the difference between combinations is not significant(P>0.05).(5)The comparison and analysis of the economic benefits of the four crosses are:at the present market price,the roosters of PT01 at 95-day-old can get the well economically benefits.(13.31 Yuan per chicken).HN02 had the highest economic benefit;PT01 combination of 120-day-old rooster has the highest economic benefit(21.57 Yuan per chicken).Hen of PT01 combination has the highest economic benefit(14.63 Yuan per chicken).Generally,the benefits of cockare higher than that of hen.According to the analysis of the production performance and economic benefit of the four crosses.PT01 was the best corss which can provide reference for breeding and production of high quality chicken.
