Investigation On Rice Production Technology Demand Of Rice Farmers In Xinxing Town

For a long time,as a big agricultural country,our country has been following the truth that "science and technology is the first productive force".In the process of agricultural development,we attach great importance to the research and development of agricultural science and technology,and a large number of R & D achievements have emerged.However,faced with the emergence of agricultural technologies like bamboo shoots,the actual conversion rate of scientific research results is not very high,according to incomplete statistics,At present,the scientific research results produced by the agricultural science research institute in our country can not promote the increase of farmers' income in actual production,which is a little backward compared with other agricultural developed countries.Faced with this status quo,As a scientific research worker,we should actively explore the growers' demand for agricultural technology and the main reasons that affect their choice of agricultural technology,and strive to find new ways and methods in the process of agricultural technology extension.Strive to increase the conversion rate of agricultural scientific and technological achievements,and effectively let science and technology to increase the income of farmers.The region studied in this paper is Panjin City,Liaoning Province,where I work.This paper takes the rice growers in Xinxing Town of Panjin City as the research object,carries out the research in the field by filling out the questionnaire,and through the collection and statistics of the questionnaire,This paper analyzes the actual demand for agricultural science and technology and the preference of technology selection among rice growers in Xinxing town,and provides some reasonable suggestions for local agricultural technology support and dissemination according to the results of this investigation.The results of the analysis based on the questionnaires collected are as follows:At present,the farmers in Xinxing Town are in urgent need of rice planting management technology.78.6% of farmers indicated their need for relevant planting management techniques.The top two rice planting techniques that are most concerned by farmers are: high yield fertilization techniques and improved seed selection techniques..(1)Based on the analysis of all kinds of characteristics of the head of household,it can be found that the education level,income and the area of the own cultivated land of the head of household have a certain influence on the choice of agricultural technology.With the increase of the education level of the head of household,the higher the intensity of the technical demand,the more comprehensive the technical demand,while the higher the income of the peasant household,the lower the intensity of the demand for agricultural technology.The larger the farm land area is,the higher the demand for agricultural technology is.(2)From the angle of different characteristics of the head of household,it can be found that the size of the owner's own cultivated land,the level of education and the level of annual income have some influence on the agricultural technology preference related to the selection of rice planting.The more cultivated land,the higher the demand for agricultural technology;the higher the level of education,the higher the demand for agricultural technology;the higher the level of household income,the lower the demand for agricultural technology.(3)From the perspective of age and gender of head of household,it can be found that the farmers' preference for agricultural technology in this survey is as follows: the young rice growers pay more attention to the rice planting technology than the older rice growers;At the same time,female-headed households pay more attention to the application of agricultural technology than male-headed households.Based on the results of this study,the recommendations are as follows: according to local conditions,supply according to demand,combining the actual needs of farmers to carry out research and development and promotion of technology;mobilize the enthusiasm of the broad grass-roots frontline agricultural extension workers to maximize the practical and effective agricultural technology to the majority of farmers;finally,We should pay attention to giving play to the leading role of role models,set up model households and demonstration sites in various villages and towns in order to popularize the technology of farmers in the region.
