One of the key factors of waste of water resources in China is the low efficiency of agricultural water use.The adoption of agricultural water-saving irrigation technology can effectively save agricultural water and is an important means to alleviate the shortage of water resources in our country.The rational behavior of farmers' selection of maize water-saving irrigation technology is in accordance with Williamson's transaction cost theory.The choice behavior of farmers' corn water-saving irrigation technology is the rational behavior of farmers' pursuit of their own interests under certain economic system constraints.Its behavior choice naturally has its inherent economic system root,the transaction cost is the main factor that the farmer chooses the corn water-saving irrigation behavior.So this article is based on Williamson's trading dimension.Based on the theory of asset specificity,uncertainty and transaction frequency,this paper tries to explain the influence of transaction cost on farmers' choice of water-saving irrigation technology for maize.This study is based on a questionnaire survey of farmers in Northeast China,using cross-analysis and binary logit regression model.It was found that the transaction cost had a significant effect on the choice of water-saving irrigation technology for corn growers.The results showed that:(1)Asset specificity had a significant effect on the choice of water-saving irrigation technology for corn growers,and whether there were agricultural machinery in the specificity of physical assets positively affected the choice of water-saving irrigation technology for corn growers at the level of 5%.The terrain of cultivated land in the specialty of geographical assets increases the transaction cost of water-saving irrigation technology,and positively affects the selection of water-saving irrigation technology of corn growers at the level of 5%.(2)the trading frequency positively affects the choice of water-saving irrigation technology for corn growers.(3)the uncertainty of corn yield per mu significantly affects the choice of water-saving irrigation technology for corn growers at the level of 5%.There was a negative correlation.(4)the number of people engaged in agriculture in the control variables negatively affected the choice of water-saving irrigation technology of corn growers at the level of 10%,and the time virtual variable significantly negatively affected the choice of water-saving irrigation technology of corn growers.According to the results of the analysis,this paper puts forward that the training of farmers should be strengthened,the project area of water-saving irrigation under the guidance of science should be established,and the construction of rural informatization should be strengthened.In public service In terms of affairs,some countermeasures and suggestions are put forward: to increase the investment of the government,to vigorously develop and cultivate large agricultural machinery households and cooperative organizations of agricultural machinery,to strengthen land rectification and reform management and to create a loose and good external environment for saving water on corn.
