Investigation Of Parasitic Infection In Beef Cattle In Tieling Area

Parasitic disease is a serious hazard to beef cattle,which causes slow weight gain,low feed remuneration and low immunity.It can also cause acute morbidity and death of beef cattle,seriously affecting the economic benefits of beef cattle breeding industry.Therefore,scientific prevention and control of parasitic disease of beef cattle is a key link to ensure the healthy development of beef cattle breeding industry.Tieling City is a big beef cattle breeding market in Liaoning Province.Beef cattle breeding ranks first in the province and occupies an important position in the agricultural economy.The number of beef cattle has reached more than 400,000 in 2018.In some areas,beef cattle breeding has become one of the main ways for farmers to increase their income.With the rapid development of cattle husbandry,parasitic diseases have become more and more harmful to beef cattle husbandry,which has become one of the most important diseases endangering the healthy development of beef cattle industry in Tieling area.This study will conduct a systematic investigation and Study on the infection status of beef cattle parasites in Tieling area,and find out the infection types,dominant species and faunal distribution of beef cattle parasites in Tieling area,so as to provide scientific basis for the prevention and control of beef cattle parasitic diseases in Tieling area.According to the actual situation of beef cattle breeding in Tieling area and the administrative division of Tieling city,the survey area was divided into five survey areas: Changtu,Xifeng,Kaiyuany,Tieling and Yinzhou Qu.According to the principle of random sampling,50 beef cattle samples were randomly sampled in each survey area,totally 250 beef cattle samples were sampled.In this study,250 beef cattle samples were examined for parasitic infection in vivo and in vivo by systemic parasitological dissection.The results of the investigation were statistically analyzed.The infection types and intensity of beef cattle parasites in Tieling area were clarified.On the basis of statistical infection rate and intensity,the predominant species of beef cattle parasites in Tieling area were determined.In this investigation,27 kinds of parasites were found in beef cattle in Tieling area,belonging to 8 classes,9 orders,19 families and 26 genera,respectively.Five kinds of parasites were found in beef cattle in Tieling area,belonging to 2 classes,3 orders,5 families and 5 genera,respectively.Six kinds of protozoa were found in beef cattle in Tieling area,belonging to 2 classes,2 orders,5 families and 6 genera respectively.Sixteen kinds of worms were found in beef cattle in Tieling area,belonging to 4 classes,4 families and 6 genera respectively.Orders 9 families 15 genera.On the basis of statistics of infection rate and intensity,nine dominant species of beef cattle parasites in Tieling area were identified.According to the infection rate,the order of dominant species was Dicrocoelium lancatum,Eurytrema pancreaticum,Trichostrongylus colubriformis,Haemaphysalis longicornis,Haemonchuus contortus,Eimeria bovis,Moniezia expansa,Oesophagostomum columbianum and Psoroptes bovis.
