In recent years,the widespread popularity of PED has become a persistent problem that restricts the development of the global pig industry.This project explores the pathogenesis,pathogen detection and prevention and control measures of epidemic diarrhea epidemic in six consecutive pig farms in Dandong from 2013 to 2017.It is a rapid diagnosis and differential diagnosis,rapid suppression and effective prevention and control of PED on large-scale pig farms providing important ideas,scientific evidence and valuable experience.In this trial,the clinical examination,incidence statistics,pathological dissection,PEDV colloidal gold test strip examination,and PEDV RT-PCR were used to diagnose and differentially diagnose 954 pigs in 2013-2017.RESULTS: The epidemic characteristics of this disease occurred mostly in the cold season.All kinds of pigs were infected,but the lack of antibodies in piglets was the most susceptible.The lower the age,the higher the mortality rate and the better the treatment effect.The typical symptoms of piglets were yellow or white or gray-brown watery stool,rapid dehydration and death;characteristic lesions are thinning of the small intestine wall,mesenteric lymphadenopathy,hemorrhage,gastric mucosal congestion or hemorrhage,bleeding in the kidney,spleen marginal infarction;p H test paper is weakly acidic,PEDV 564 heads were highly positive for colloidal gold test strips;positive for PEDV by RT-PCR;S1 gene sequencing confirmed the infection of PEDV strains in 2011,with a homologous rate of 97.5% with AJ1102 and 97.2% with KDGG13-2013.The homology rate with CH-LNC-2012 S,USA2014,South Korea-2008 was 97.0%,and the homology rate with PEDV4-S-3 was 96.6%.In 2015,this study conducted a comparative trial of piglet drug treatment: piglets with diarrhea within 10 days of age were randomly divided into 5 groups,30 in each group.Group 1 was treated with western medicine,group 2 were treated with traditional Chinese medicine,group 3 were treated with integrated Chinese and Western medicine,group 4 were treated with rehydration salt + interferon inducer,and group 5 were treated with no treatment.Results The results of the group 4 were the best,and the treatment efficiency and cure rate were 56.7% and 30%,respectively.In 2016,the sow back feeding prevention test was conducted.The test was divided into three groups.One group returned to the pregnant sow within 15 days before labor,and the two groups returned to the pregnant sow 15 to 30 days before labor.The control sows did not receive any treatment.The test results of the two groups were the best.The diarrhea rate and the death rate were 43.77% and 34.74%,respectively,which were significantly different from the control group(P<0.05).From February 2016 to October 2017,the implementation of the comprehensive prevention and control improvement program comparison test: the use of sow back feeding + self-organized seedlings inoculation + supporting bio-safety comprehensive measures,the positive rate of sows and piglets antigens were significantly reduced.The antibodies positive rate increased by 19 to 34 percentage points,and the number of sows and piglets survived significantly increased.The incidence of diarrhea and death rate of piglets decreased to 4.7% and 0.37%,respectively,which effectively prevented the occurrence of PED.The test results show that rapid scientific diagnosis is the precondition for the prevention of PED,(oral rehydration salt + interferon inducer)+ isolation and disinfection + sow back feeding + self-organized seedling inoculation + supporting biosafety comprehensive measures is effective measures in preventing PED.
