Research On The Development Of Sericulture Cooperatives In Peng’an County

Developing agricultural cooperatives is an effective way and important measure to solve the problems among agriculture,countryside and farmers,while accelerate the construction of new countryside.Silkworm mulberry industry is an important traditional advantageous industry in Peng’an County and a major project for local farmers to increase their income.How to play the role of silkworm mulberry cooperatives in Peng’an County is an urgent problem to be considered,such as,improving the problems existing in the cooperatives,and thus promoting the development of silkworm mulberry industry and local characteristic agriculture.The field research methods were used to investigate the development situation,main types and organizational forms of sericulture cooperatives in Peng’an County.The problems existing in the development of sericulture cooperatives in Peng’an County were analyzed by statistical analysis method.The results showed that the problems in the sericulture cooperatives in Peng’an County,including low educational background,backward concepts,slow development of cooperatives,low overall technical level,weak market competitiveness of products,small scale of cooperatives,less value-added products,and the ability to increase farmers’ income needs to be improved.The reasons were analyzed,including short of talents and reward,lack of punishment mechanism,low-level sericulture production mode,lack of leading enterprises,etc.Finally,the suggesting was provided that establishing and perfecting the cooperatives is the distinguishing feature of the management system,the construction of diversified high quality talent team,the introduction of new technology to improve the ability of creating economic benefits,encouraging and leading enterprises in-depth cooperation,and the government strengthen the guidance and support,etc.In summary,it is hoped that by promoting the standardized development of silkworm mulberry cooperatives in Peng’an County to promote farmers’ income and local economic development.
