Study On Competitive Characteristics Of Poa Pratensis L.CV. 'Daqingshan' And 'Nuglade' In Hohhot

Poa pratensis L.CV.'Daqingshan' is native grass and 'Nuglade' is introduced turfgrass.The experiment is based on these two kinds of grass placed in the environmental adaptability hypothesis and spatial heterogeneity hypothesis includes different moisture content different mowing frequency and different mowing height.Measuring the indexes in different levies is to explore the influence of the competitive combination and analyze the possibility of Poa pratensis L.CV.'Daqingshan' to become the turtgrass in Hohhot.As well as providing a certain basis for subsequent improvement and utilization of it.The conclusions are as follows:(1)Under the hypothesis of environmental adaptability,the two kinds of grass grow well and keep a stable community.(2)Under the hypothesis of spatial heterogeneity,Poa pratensis L.CV'Daqingshan' 's resistance of drought is better than 'Nuglade' whereas the resistance of low mowing and mowing frequency height is poor than the 'Nuglade'.It can be considered to be a native turfgrass species and widely used in the construction of green space in Hohhot.However,because of its wild variety,Poa pratensis L.CV'Daqingshan' needs to be improved.The purpose of this study is to explore the development path of the harmonious coexistence of native grass and imported turfgrass,to explore the possibility of developing native turfgrass resource,and to provide the scientific basis for the cultivation of new state-owned variety as well as its application and promotion.
