Salix linearistipularis,shrub or small tree of Salicaceae,has strong salt and alkali resistance and can improve saline soil The purpose of this study was to investigate the salt and alkali tolerance of male and female plants of Salix linearistipularis,and to provide a basis for improving vegetation restoration in saline-alkali soil and saline-alkali soil.In this experiment,Salix linearistipularis clones were used as research objects.The cuttings of female and male shoots were used as experimental materials.The physiological and biochemical indexes and photosynthetic parameters of Salix linearistipularis were determined by different concentrations of salt-alkali stress treatment,and the chloroplast and mitochondria were observed.Microstructure,analysis of salt and alkali resistance of male and female Salix linearistipularis.The main findings are as follows:(1)With the increase of saline-alkali concentration,the symptoms of Salix linearistipularis leaf salt damage were gradually aggravated,and the leaf morphology and color of both male and female plants changed in varying degrees.Especially under high saline-alkali stress,the symptoms of Salix linearistipularis leaf salt damage were very significant,but intuitively,the salt-alkali tolerance ability of female plants was stronger than that of male plants.(2)Under salt-alkali stress,malondialdehyde,relative conductivity,chlorophyll,superoxide dismutase and peroxidase of male and female plants of Salix linearistipularis increased first and then decreased,while proline showed an upward trend.There were significant differences between male and female plants under different concentrations of salt-alkali treatment.The results showed that the salt and alkali tolerance of female plants was stronger than that of male plants.(3)The photosynthetic rate showed an upward trend at low salinity and alkali concentration of male and female plants.With the increase of salinity and alkali stress concentration,the photosynthetic rate decreased more and more.The changes of transpiration rate and stomatal conductance in leaves of Salix linearistipularis were basically consistent with photosynthetic rate.By comparing the differences of photosynthetic parameters between male and female plants under different concentrations,it can be concluded that under salt stress and alkali stress,the salt and alkali tolerance of female plants is stronger than that of male plants.(4)The damage of chloroplast and mitochondria structure of male Salix linearistipularis plants under high salinity and alkali stress was stronger than that of female ones.The main manifestations were as follows:With the increase of saline and alkali concentration,the chloroplast of male plant was deformed seriously,the lamellar layer was blurred,and the osmiophilic particles increased.The structure of mitochondria in male plants was blurred and the cristae structure disappeared.In summary,the salt-alkali stress had certain effects on the female and male seedlings of Salix linearistipularis,and the higher the salt-alkali concentration,the greater the damage to Salix linearistipularis;Through the analysis of various indicators,low concentration of salt-alkali stress may be beneficial to the growth and development of Salix linearistipularis;the salt and alkali resistance of the females plants of Salix linearistipularis were stronger than those of male plants under salt-alkali stress.
