The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Yinchansan and Pulsatilla extractum on blood parameters and intestinal flora diversity of chimeric system nursery pigs.Thirty nursery pigs of 80 days old with weight of about 19.5kg and no significant individual difference were randomly divided into Control group(Con group),Yinchansan group(S group),Pulsatilla extractum group(P group).The piglets in the Con group were fed basic diet,the S group was fed basic diet+0.3%Yinchansan and the P group was fed basic diet+50 mg/kg-bw Pulsatilla extractum for 28 days.On day 0,14 and 28 of the experiment,all piglets were blood sampled from the anterior vena lumina to determine the levels of antioxidant indicators(T-AOC?SOD?GSH-P_X and MDA),immunoglobulin(IgA?IgG and IgM)and inflammatory factors(IL-6?TNF-?and TGF-?)in serum and the feces of piglets were used for 16S rRNA high-throughput sequencing.The results are as follows:1.Compared with the Con group,T-AOC,SOD and GSH-P_X activities were significantly increased,while MDA concentrations were significantly decreased in the S group and the P group(P<0.05 or P<0.01).2.Compared with the Con group,IgA?IgG and IgM concentrations were significantly increased in the S group and the P group(P<0.05 or P<0.01).3.Compared with the Con group,IL-6 concentrations were significantly decreased and TGF-?concentrations were first significantly decreased and then increased in the S group and the P group(P<0.05 or P<0.01),while TNF-?concentrations were only significantly decreased on d 14 in the yinbusan group in the S group(P<0.05).4.Compared with the Con group,the relative abundance of dominant genera Lactobacillus were increased in the later period of the experiment in the S group,additionally,the abundance of beneficial bacteria such as Streptococcus,Peptococcus,and[Eubacterium]were significantly increased(P<0.05 or P<0.01),while the abundance of harmful bacteria such as Anaerostipes,Anaeroplasma and Clostridium was significantly decreased(P<0.05 or P<0.01).5.Compared with the Con group,the relative abundance of dominant phyla Bacteroidetes and dominant genera Lactobacillus were increased in the later period of the experiment in the S group,additionally,the abundance of beneficial bacteria such as Prevotella were significantly increased(P<0.05 or P<0.01),while the abundance of harmful bacteria such as Catenibacterium?Corynebacterium?Anaerostipes?Clostridium and Sarcina was significantly decreased(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Taken together,the two additives of Yinchansan and Pulsatilla extractum may have a better regulating effect on the overall performance of pigs by improving the antioxidant capacity and enhancing the immune function of piglets.It may also play a role in alleviating piglet diarrhea by promoting the growth trend of beneficial flora,inhibiting the growth trend of harmful flora,and regulating the microbial flora structure in piglets'intestines.
