| The propagation pattern of Ammopiptcinthus mongolicus is determined by its own propagation characteristics and external environmental factors.In this paper,the morphological characteristics of Ammopiptanthus mongolicus fruit were measured,the vertical settling time in static air and the horizontal spread distance under simulated wind conditions were measured,the correlation between the morphological characteristics of Ammopiptanthus,mongolicus fruit and settling time and horizontal spread distance was analyzed and compared,the fruit spread model of Ammopiptanthus mongolicus was established,and the seed vigor of Ammopiptanthus mongolicus was determined.The experimental result indicated that:(1)According to whether the pod is cracked or not and the twisting angle of the pod,the pod can be divided into three types:cracking-flattening fruit,cracking-twisting fruit and non-cracking fruit.There were significant differences in pod length,pod width,fruit weight,pod weight and seed weight between non-splitting fruits and other two types of fruits.(2)When the releasing height was the same,the descending time showed as follows:dehiscent-twisted fruit>dehiscent-flat fruit>non-dehiscent fruit,and the difference between them was very significant.Settlement time increases with the increase of release height.(3)On the same underlying surface,the size of horizontal moving distance showed as follows:cracking-twisting fruit>cracking-flattening fruit>non-cracking fruit,and the difference of horizontal moving distance was very significant.When the pod type is the same and the wind speed is the same,the distance of fruit movement from far to near is smooth surface>sand surface>gravel surface.With the increase of wind speed,the distance of fruit spread is farther and farther.(4)Fruit type is the main factor affecting the descending time and horizontal moving distance in the process of propagation.The correlation coefficients P between fruit weight and descending time and moving distance were-0.209 and-0.14,respectively.(5)Under the same environmental conditions,the predicted value of the first spread distance of Ammopiptanthusm ongolicus fruit was larger than the measured value.In the second spread of Ammopiptanthusm ongolicus fruit,a cubic function model of spread distance and wind speed was established.(6)The change trend of water uptake of three types of Ammopiptanthus mongolicus seeds during imbibition was the same.The process of seed swelling lasted 32 hours.The order of seed germination rate from big to small was non-cracking fruit(80%)>cracking-flattening fruit(60%)>cracking-twisting fruit(20%).The results showed that cracking-flattening fruit,cracking-twisting fruit and non-cracking fruit combined in the spread process,which enhanced the proliferation and reproduction opportunities of Ammopiptanthus mongolicus fruit. |
