Secale cereale subsp.segetale is a type of weedy rye found in Xinjiang,China,and is classified as a subspecies of Secale cereale L..S.cereale subsp.segetale has rich genetic diversity.It has many excellent traits,such as strong resistance to stress(drought and cold resistance)and resistance to many kinds of diseases(rust disease,powdery mildew and yellow dwarf).And it also has excellent high-yield qualities(multiple tillers and multiple spikes).Its genetic resources are important,which can be used as an important genetic resource for wheat and rye.At present,Fusarium head blight(FHB)is widespread in China,and resistance to FHB have been studied,However,it is insufficiency in resistant varieties,and the identification of resistance to rye wild germplasm is still in the blank.In order to further tap the excellent gene resources of S.cereale subsp.segetale,this study evaluated the agronomic traits and identified the resistance to FHB germplasm resources under controlled cultivation.The results are as follows.1.There were significantly different and richly multifarious in agronomic traits among S.cereale subsp.segetale populations.The spike length(SL)and spike width(SW)of S.cereale subsp.segetale had a direct or indirect positive effect on thousand kernel weight(TKW).The 6 agronomic traits in S.cereale subsp.segetale were superior to that in S.cereale,among them,the SL of 89R59 was 16.16 cm,the SW of89R15 was 1.00 cm,the spikes number of per plant(SNP)of 89R23 was 59.00,the spikeletes number of per spike(SNS)of 89R43 was 46.20,the kernels number of per spike(KNS)of 90R6 was 79.60,and the TKW of 89R34 was 34.82 g,which were more advantageous than S.cereale materials.The agronomic traits of 90R20 were relatively harmonious,its plant height(PH)was 148.9 cm,the SL was 10.75 cm,the SNP was 52.00,the KNS was 56.00,and the TKW was 23.62 g.2.The materials of 36 S.cereale subsp.segetale and 14 S.cereale were evaluated for resistance to FHB by using artificial infection and analyzing the disease index(DIS)and disease incidence.Fifty test materials were divided according to fivedisease resistance grades,high sense(HS),sense(S),medium sense(MS),medium resistance(MR)and resistance(R).There were thirty-three materials detected HS,eight materials expressed as S,six MS,three MR,and no R found in the test materials.The population 89R14,89R51,90R2 disease resistance grades showed MR,and the agronomic traits of these three materials were also excellent,which could be used for disease-resistance and breeding,and provided reference for genetic improvement of resistance to FHB and discovery of new FHB antigens.Correlation analysis between the DIS,disease incidence and some agronomic traits in S.cereale subsp.segetale showed that there was a significant correlation between the degree of infection to FHB and visually scabby kernels(VSK),weight of single spike,KNS,kernel length and width,TKW in S.cereale subsp.segetale.The PL and spike type of S.cereale subsp.segetale had no significant effect on the degree of infection to FHB,but the SNS may affected the performance of S.cereale subsp.segetale on FHB infection to some extent.That was,the more SNS,the more serious degree of infection to FHB in S.cereale subsp.segetale...
