Agriculture and forestry are vital components of China,s economic development and play an important role in the supply of agricultural products and wood.However,pests and diseases affect the growth of plants and human health.There are many kinds of plant pests and diseases in China and plant experts can not know them effectively.Beside this,the number of experts is limited,which 1s far from being popularized at the grassroots level and can not meet the needs in agricultural and forestry sectors.So,the public have no idea about how to get the knowledge of plant pests and diseases and how to prevent from them.A mobile APP for plant pests and diseases is proposed,which adopts a separation strategy between front-end and back-end.This APP uses Cordova hybrid development framework and Spring Boot to realize a science and technology and consulting system,which uses Baidu cloud computing system to recognize limages,builds a database of plant pests and diseases,and constructs a consulting module of plant protection experts.Based on studies of the current consulting system using the mode of questions and answers,this APP realizes rapid dissemination and answering of consultation information.The process of science and technology of plant pests and diseases is complex and the various processes are closely related to each other.Based on the above reasons,this APP analyzes and designs each ftunctionality in detail and finally forms a system integrating pests and diseases indentification,disseminating of science and technology,expert consulting.This APP provides a platform for practitioners in agriculture and forestry,plant protection experts and the public who are interested in plants to retrieve knowledge in the prevention of plant pests and diseases.
