Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge is a unique medicinal,oil,greening and ornamental tree species in China.Because of its cold resistance,drought resistance and salt and alkali resistance,it has high research and development value."Jinhua Wenguan" is a new ornamental type selected by the research group in the early stage of the research group.In order to explore the unique flower color characteristics and phenotypic stability of golden color at flowering stage,the mother plant and the second generation clone plant of grafting and propagation were used as the research materials.The morphological characteristics,phenological characteristics and flower color characteristics of the golden flower Corolla were compared and analyzed by means of high spectral analysis and pigment analysis,and the flower color characteristics and phenotypic stability of the golden flower Corolla were clarified.It lays a foundation for the further study of the breeding and color mechanism of the fine new varieties of ornamental Wenguan fruit.The main findings are as follows:(1)The golden flower crown has obvious morphological characteristics,and the phenological period is also different from that of the control.Compared with the control,the phenological and morphological characteristics of the second generation plants and mother plants were as follows: early flowering and spreading stage,long flowering stage,late deciduous leaves,large leaf thickness,large leaf quantity and luxuriant branches.The inflorescence and the young leaves at the same time were yellow in the inflorescence from the early anthesis to the full flowering stage,the base of the petals turned red at the end of the flowering stage,and the leaves changed from yellow to green.(2)From the beginning to the full flowering stage,the golden flower showed obvious golden flower color.The comparative relationship between flavonoids content and carotenoid and chlorophyll content in petals and young leaves led to the difference of flower color.The content of flavonoids in Corolla petals was significantly higher than that in the control,with an average increase of 18.03%.At the beginning and flowering stage,the hyperspectral(430-470 nm band)reflection value caused by carotenoids was low,which made the base of petals yellow.The chlorophyll content of the leaves was significantly lower than that of the control at the early and peak stage of leaf expansion,and the content of flavonoids wassignificantly higher than that of the control,with an average increase of 22.48%.The chlorophyll content of the leaves at the mature stage of the leaves was gradually higher than that of the control.Step by step,the leaves change from yellow to green.(3)Compared with the mother plant,the second generation plants of the clone of Golden Flower Corolla showed good stability in phenological stage,morphological characteristics and anthocyanin content,but significantly different from the control.
