| Echocardiography is the technique that assesses cardiac hemodynamics without radiation,no damage,real-time cardiac physiology and pathologic anatomy,it is of great significance in the diagnosis of heart disease in clinical veterinary disease.Diagnosis of animal heart disease such as:ventricular septal defect,atrial septal defect,patent ductus arteriosus,mitral regurgitation,dilated cardiomyopathy,hypertrophic cardiomyopathy,myxomatous mitral valve disease,Pulmonary hypertension and other diseases,has a very good clinical significance of tumor in the base of heart,heartworm,pericardial effusion and other diseases.Poodle is one of the high incidence breeds of senile valvular disease,congenital heart disease,At present,there is still a lack of echocardiography indicators and related research.Therefore,this study is useful for the measurement of cardiac echocardiography in healthy poodles,and of clinical significance to analyze and study the correlation between body weight and gender and the difference between long axis and short axis of the same tissue.In this paper,the main scanning planes including:right parasternal long-axis four-chamber plane,right parasternal short-axis plane in the base of heart,right parasternal short-axis mitral valve level of the base heart(fish mouth),right parasternal short-axis papillary muscle(mushrooms)and chordae tendineae level,left parasternal long-axis four-chamber view of the heart,right parasternal long-axis five-chamber view of the heart.Mainly modes:two-dimensional,M-mode echocardiography,Color Doppler,Pulse Doppler,Continuous Doppler,measuring the following echocardiograph values in the long and short-axis planes including:Interventricular septum thickness,Left ventricular diameter,left Ventricular Posterior Wall Thickness,EPSS,ejection fraction(EF),Fractional shortening(FS),Wall thickening rate(△T%),analyzing by independent sample t test,studying its correlation with weight and gender,including AOD,LA/AO ratio,mitral valve open area(MVA),mitral valve velocity time integral(VTI),aortic velocity time integral(VTI),mitral valve E peak,A peak,E/A value.The analysis of measured echocardiography with the analysis software SPSS20.0,The results as follows:The long and short axis values of ISTd,ISTs,LVIDd,LVIDs,LVPWd,LVPWs,MVA,AOD were linearly related to body weight and linear regression relation of very significant(P<0.01),ejection fraction(EF),short axis shortening(FS),ventricular wall thickening rate(△T%),aortic velocity time integral,mitral valve velocity time integral(VTI)and body weight are not linearly correlated.ISTd,ISTs,LVIDd,LVIDs,LVPWd,LVPWs,EF(%),FS(%),△T%,EPSS are not of significance between the long and the short axis.There may be slight differences in the value of the same plane in long and short axis measurements,but these differences are not statistically significant after SPSS statistical analysis,which is consistent with other authors’ findings.Among the tested 36 poodles,21 males and 15 females are sexually grouped using SPSS20.0 for independent sample t test,The results as follows:The values of ISTs,LVIDd,LVIDs,LVPWd,LVPWs,EPSS,MVA and VTI in the aorta are significant difference,and the values of male dogs are higher than female dogs,ISTd,ISTs,EF,FS,△T%,E peak,A peak,E/A,mitral valve VTI and other indicators were not significant difference between the gender. |
