Varieties are the basis for the production of high-quality tobacco leaf,and the superior varieties have strong adaptability and disease resistance,which are the internal factors to determine the quality of tobacco leaf,and the ecological environment is the necessary external conditions for high quality tobacco leaf material production.This study comprehensively evaluates the leave quality,stability and adaptability of burley tobacco new varieties,laying a scientific basis for the validation and utilization of burley tobacco new varieties.Take Eyan 1 planting as control,we choosed 4 tested varieties which are 22074,22084,9902 and OD9111.The regional comparison test was conducted in 6 regions(Enshi and Jianshi in Hubei Province,Binchuan in Yunnan Province,Fengjie and Wanzhou in Chongqing Province,Dazhou in Sichuan Province)of Burley producing area in China.Considering the agronomic and yield traits,we evaluated the appearance quality of leaves,chemical composition and sensory quality of the new varieties.The main results were as follows:1.In different regions,the main stems,veins and leaf color of the 4 varieties all showed the unique botany characteristic,the yield and output value of burley tobacco.The interaction between different regions,between different varieties,and between regions and varieties,all showed very significant difference(P<0.01).The differences in the growth stages,agronomic traits,yield,output value and chemical components of different regions were larger than those of different genetic factors,indicating that the influence of environmental conditions was greater than that of varieties.It is extremely important to choose the suitable environmental conditions for different varieties.2.There was a close relationship between the genotype area pilot effect and the regional adaptability.The greater the effect value was,the stronger the regional adaptability of the cultivar was,or vice versa.The stability of OD9111 was lower than that of the control,the growth period was long(90 days),the plant was tall(139.52 cm),the leaves was the most(27.68 leaves),the middle leaf was bigger(75.82cm 35.82cm).The disease resistance and adaptability were relatively strong.During the field period in Binchuan,the Tobacco Brown Spot incidence rate of OD9111 was 4.1%.OD9111 showed a high yield in Binchuan,Fengjie,Jianshi and Wanzhou,and got an average yield of 176.12kg/667 m2,which is obviously higher than that of the control.And the average interaction effect and comprehensively evaluation was better;9902 had lower disease resistance and less stability than that of the control,the adaptability was generally good the lower leaves were smaller(61.80cm31.92cm),.9902 was moderately sensitive to TMV,during the field period in Binchuan,the Tobacco Brown Spot incidence rate was 18.1%,the Tobacco weather fleck incidence rate was 15.8%.The yield was good in Dazhou,Enshi and Binchuan,and got an average yield of 181.22kg/667 m2,which is obviously higher than that of the control,the average interaction effect and the comprehensive evaluation was better;22084 had lower disease resistance than that of the control,the stability was slightly inferior to the control,the adaptability was general,the pitch was 4.47cm,the stem circumference was larger(11.42cm),during the field period in Binchuan,the Tobacco Brown Spot incidence rate was 29.1%,and the TMV incidence rate was 4.2%.The TMV also appeared in Fengjie and Wanzhou.The yield was slightly stronger than the control,and got an average yield of 181.22kg/667 m2.The average interaction effect was close to the control,22084 was generally suitable in Fengjie,Jianshi and Dazhou.The comprehensive evaluation was quite the same as the control;20074 had a stronger disease resistance,a stronger adaptability and stability,the growth period field was short(87 days),the lower leaf was wider(33.23 cm),the upper leaf was longer(62.25 cm),the plant height was the lowest(129.58 cm),the pitch was the shortest(4.38cm).22074 had the disease resistance to Tobacco Black Shank,during the field period in Binchuan,the Tobacco Brown Spot incidence rate was 8.3%,the TMV incidence rate was 2.1%,the Tobacco Frog Eye incidence rate was 7.7%,and the Tobacco weather fleck incidence rate was 9.4%.22074 was suitable in Fengjie,Jianshi Wanzhou and Enshi,,but the yield and the average interaction effect was worse than that of the control.22074 got an average yield of 167.34kg/667 m2,which is less than control.
