Study On The Ecological Adaptability And Ornamental Value For Seventeen Species Of Introduced Ever Color-Leaf Tree

In recent years,with the construction of landscape in Urumqi City,more and more newly color-leaf tree species have been introduced there but lacked of ecological adaptability and comprehensive evaluation of the ornamental.This paper from the view of ecology and aesthetics,uses the AHP(analytic hierarchy process)to quantify the qualitative index.Using the color-leaf trees of long-term applicated as the contrast,make the comprehensive evaluation of the introduction of the new color-tree.The research content mainly includes two aspects:(1)The variety and distribution of color-leaf tree species of three kinds of green space in Urumqi city(Residential green space,Road square green space,Park green space)were investigated and analyzed;(2)17 kinds of introduction of colored trees in experimental field in Changji for two consecutive years were observed and analyzed,and this paper comprehensively evaluated the ecological adaptability and ornamental value of 17 species of color-leaf tree by AHP(analytic hierarchy process).The tree species was evaluated according to the standard for evaluation to get comprehensive evaluation result,and then the comprehensive evaluation score of each species was calculated according to the weight coefficient of each factor.Finally selected from the new superior tree species and put forward the optimization of plant landscape configuration mode to guide the plant landscape design practice.The results of investigation indicates that color-leaf tree species with 20 species belonging to 9 families and 16 genera,tree species in the city greening tree species accounted for only 6.83% in three kinds of green space survey in Urumqi City.The amount and variety of application of color-leaf trees are relatively low in the city landscape,and the type of application frequency is not balanced.The color-leaf trees lack of planting design and maintenance management.Its configuration mode is single.Becises,landscape level sense is not strong and seasonal characteristics are not prominent.The 17 color-leaf tree species is divided into three levels,by comprehensive score according to their application value,a total of 11 species score above 4.0 points.They can be used as advantageous tree species with potential for popularization and application,include Sambucus Canadensis‘Plumosa Aurea',Prunus cerasifera cv,Cornus alba‘Aurea',Fraxinus excelsior‘Jaspidea',Fraxinus chinensis‘Jinguan',Acer negundo‘Auratum',Gleditsia triacanthos‘Sunburst',Malus‘Royalty',Ulmus pumila‘Meiren',Prunusc×cistena,Spiraea bumalda‘Gold Mound'.They have strong adaptability and good ornamental effect,can be widely used in the city;there are 4 kinds of tree species in the 3.0-4.0 score,Sambucus nigar ‘Aurea',physocarpus opulifolius‘Luteus',Populus×euramericana‘zhonghuahongyeyang',physocarpus opulifolius‘Summer Wine'.The above species can be combined with configuration,maintenance management and other means used in urban greening,for example,physocarpus opulifolius ‘Luteus',has moderate cold resistance,can be used in the small area of the warmer areas of residential green space,as a decorative application in garden green space,but not suitable for road greening.There are 2 species,their scores are under 3.0,include Acer rubrum,Fraxinus sp..Cold hardiness are very weak and poor ornamental.Finally,recommend the configuration mode for 12 kinds of tree species that comprehensive score are higher,namely “trees+shrubs+groundcover”,“trees+groundcover”,“shrubs+groundcover”,“trees+shrubs+groundcover+vine”,and summarizes several configurations for design reference.
