Drought and low temperature are the main factors limiting spring crop production in arid and semi-arid areas.Plastic film mulching could increase soil moisture and crop yield,but the lone-term application of ordinary film has caused some damage to the soil.The application of biodegradable film and liquid film has avoided similar problems caused by plastic films.Different types of film processing counld affect soil environment and plant growth.In this paper,based on this,this study compared and analyzed the growth and water temperature of Zhangzagu under different film mulching treatments to provide a theoretical basis for the popularization and application of mulching.The experiment was carried out from May 2016 to October 2017 in the Innovation Park and Shenfen Village Test Area of Shanxi Agricultural University.There were eight groups of controls,includingbare ground cultivation(CK),white/black plastic mulching(B/H),white/black degradable film(BK/HK),different liquid film Y1,Y2 and Y3 with different concentrations(l,2 and 3 times respectively).The effects of different plastic film mulching on the soil water temperature environment,plant height,SPAD value,photosynthetic index,resistance enzyme and yield index were analyzed.The main results were as follows:(1)The temperature of soil layer after film mulch treatments were as follows:ordinary film>biodegradable film>liquid film>CK.As for the ability of warming effect,the white film was higher than that of black film,ordinary film processing was slightly higher than that of biodegradable film,2 and 3 times concentration of liquid film were relatively similar,but significantly higher than 1 times concentration.Mulch could increase soil temperature.The soil temperature of B,BK,H,HK,Yl,Y2 and Y3 was higher than that of CK at 3.95,3.42,2.28,1.74,0.24,0.58 and 0.97 0C,respectively.The warming effect of biodegradable and liquid film were weakened in the later stage of procreation,and the temperature of white films was still higher than that of black films.The temperature of 0-20 cm soil layer at 5cm reached its peak at 14:00,and the diurnal temperature difference was large.The more deeper the soil layer,the delay of warming effect,the more lower the average daily temperature,and the more smaller the daily temperature difference,the more weaker the ability of warming effect.Black mulch could increase the temperature of the soil layer,promote the growth of the Zhangzagu,and also avoid the high temperature stress.(2)The variation of water content in soil layer 0-60 cm was large,and the variation of 60-100 cm is gentle.In the early stage of procreation,the moisture content of the soil covered by the films were as follows by:black film>white film>liquid film>CK.H and HK treatment had high moisture retention ability in the early stage of growth,but the ability of HK,BK and liquid film was similar to that of CK in the later stage of growth.(3)In the early stage of procreation,the growth of Zhangzagu was strong,the plant height had greater effect under CK than the normal film and biodegradable film.The height of the plant was basically unchanged in the later stage of procreation.The black film treated WUE was larger,7.78%and 3.40%higher than CK.The activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD)and peroxidase(POD)decreased gradually in the later stage of procreation,while malondialdehyde(MDA)increased exponentially.The content of SOD and POD were lower under film,MDA content was relatively higher.Black mulch was more anti-aging than white,and biodegradable film was better than CK.The mulch could effectively increase yardage,ear diameter,ear length,thousand kernel weight,ear number and yield of Zhangzagu,the thousand kernel weight between different mulch treatments were not significant,but H and HK were significantly increased,compared with CK,the yield increased by about 15.5%and 16.9%respectively.HK yield increase was most obvious and could be degraded by itself,and it was feasible to popularize the HK film in arid and semi-arid area of Shanxi.This study would provide a theoretical basis for the application of film mulching to the field cu tivation of millet.
