Mechanical harvesting of multigrain crops is related to the biological characteristics of multigrain crops at harvest time and the mechanical characteristics of multigrain stalks.Relevant research can provide parameters and relevant theoretical support for the design of key components,mechanism system and overall machine performance of the miscellaneous grain crop harvester,innovate the miscellaneous grain crop harvester,and improve the mechanized operation level of characteristic miscellaneous grain crops.In this paper,the biological characters of characteristic grain crops such as millet,buckwheat and oat were studied.Among them,15 biological traits were measured,including plant height,number of main stem segments,length of spike,length of main spike,diameter of main spike,weight of main spike,grain weight of main spike,petal weight,grain weight of spike,short internode axis,long internode axis,short stem node axis,long stem node axis,internode length and stem node length.The plant height,number of main stem segments,number of internodes,weight of the whole plant,internode length,stem node length,internode long axis,internode short axis,stem node long axis and stem node short axis of jinyan 18 were measured.And the biological characters of buckwheat,such as plant height,main stem node number,grain weight,thousand grain weight,branch number,single plant weight,grain number and growth period.In addition,on the material testing machine stalks of corn stalks,buckwheat,oats stalks,experimental study on the mechanics properties of three varieties of foxtail millet(jin gu 21,seeps the state yellow,a mixed number 10)stem,two buckwheat varieties(black feng 1,yu 4)stem and a oats varieties(Jin Yan 18)stem as the research object,the shear mechanics test,the results show that the coarse grain crop stalks internode number increase,corn stalks,buckwheat stalks,oat stem of the shear stress and shear strength decreasing;With the increase of moisture content,the shear force and shear strength of millet stalk decreased,and the shear power of jingu 21 and zhangza 10 decreased all the time.When the moisture content was about 45%,the shear power of qinzhouhuang reached the maximum value,but the overall trend decreased.The shearing force and shear strength of buckwheat stalk increased with the increase of water content,and the shearing power increased as a whole,but the shearing power of heifeng 1 increased first and then decreased.With the increase of water content,the shear force of jinyan no.18 increased and the shear strength decreased.The shearing power decreases first and then increases.Bending mechanics tests were carried out on the stem of jingu 21 at different pitch and water content.The results showed that the elastic modulus E and bending strength EI increased with the increase of the pitch.The elastic modulus E and bending stiffness EI in the middle part of the stem were both higher than those in the upper part of the stem.With the increase of water content,the elastic modulus E and bending stiffness EI of jingu no.21 stem decreased,while the inertia moment I increased.
