| With the development of China’s economic productivity,China’s pet industry also ushered in new opportunities for development In 2017,China’s pet industry developed rapidly, with pet consumption amounting to 130 billion yuan;in 2018,China’s pet population was about 100 million, with a pet population of about 73.5million,mainly dogs;it is estimated that pet industry consumption in 2019 is more considerable, but there is still a certain gap with developed countries. It is speculated that China will soon enter into a big pet country,in which pet dogs will become one of the main pets.In the future, with the increase of the number and variety of pets, the risk of parasitic diseases will increase, especially zoonotic parasitic diseases to pet owners. In order to understand the infection situation of blood parasitic diseases of pet dogs in Yanbian area,150 blood samples of pet dogs in outpatient clinics from animal hospitals in Hunchun City,Tumen City,Yanji City and Longjing City were collected aseptically. The pathogens of Babesia canis,Toxoplasma gondii and Neospora caninum were detected by blood smear Giemsa staining and microscopic examination, genomic DNA extraction and PCR detection. The positive samples were cloned and sequenced, and compared among different genders, ages, varieties and regions. The results showed that only positive samples of Toxoplasma gondii were detected in 150 blood samples, and no positive samples of Babesia canis and Neosporium canis were detected.Among them,12 samples were positive for Toxoplasma gondii and the infection rate was 8%(12/150).Sequence analysis showed that the homology of Toxoplasma gondii B1 gone(AF179871)sequence was 100%.According to the analysis of positive samples of Toxoplasma gondii, the lowest infection rate was 8%(1/12),58%(7/12)in male dogs and 58%(7/12)in young dogs.Teddy dogs have the highest infection rate, and the lower the immunity of infected dogs, the higher the risk of infection..This investigation on the infection of three blood parasitic diseases of pet dogs has provided scientific epidemiological data for clinical diagnosis, and has played a positive role in improving pet owners’ awareness of parasite prevention, reducing the infection risk of parasites, and reducing the threat of parasites to pets and human health. |
