Hemerocallis is a perennial herb of Liliaceae,whose flower buds are of value to the edible,pharmaceutical and ornamental fields.The buds not only spend the big color gorgeous,but contain carbohydrate,protein,vitamin,mineral elements and so on,which have an important role in human growth.Based on determination methods,the nutrients in flower buds of 17 Hemerocallis spp.,which were collected from all over the country from 2012 through 2015 were analysed qualitatively and quantitatively.This paper applied factorial analysis to evaluate nutritional quality of some varieties in Hemerocallis comprehensively.Filtering out excellent varieties of the comprehensive nutrition evaluation,it can provide theory and data foundation for comprehensive utilization and market development of Hemerocallis spp..The experimental results are as follows:(1)By using ultraviolet spectrophotometer to detect soluble sugars,soluble protein,non-soluble protein,vitamin C and ?-carotene in buds of Hemerocallis,the results show that both soluble sugars?soluble protein?non-soluble protein?vitamin C and ?-carotene reached a significant difference between different varieties.Of those,the highest soluble sugars content was 40.251 g/100g,which was detected in H.'wild Hemerocallis fulva 3',H.'Dali yellow' exhibited least quality,reaching 14.638 g/100g.The highest soluble protein content was 4.882 mg/100g,which was detected in H.'Chazi',H.'Gansu 3' exhibited least quality,reaching 0.407 mg/100g.The highest non-soluble protein content was 41.472 mg/100g,which was detected in H.'Qiezi 1',H.'Dali yellow' exhibited least quality,reaching 14.482 mg/100g.The highest vitamin C content was 4.242 mg/100g,which was detected in H.'Chazi',H.'Qiezi l' exhibited least quality,reaching 0.029 mg/100g.The highest vitamin C content was 2.154 mg/100g,which was detected in H.'Qiezi 1',H.'North yellow' exhibited least quality,reaching 0.170 mg/100g.(2)A fast,efficient and accurate determination method of vitamin E in Hemerocallis by HPLC was developed,including C18(150 mm × 4.6 mm,5 um),93%methanol and 7%'Wahaha Purified Water' at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min.The column temperature was 40 ?,the detection wavelength was at 292 nm,the injection volume was 20 uL.The coefficient of variation of vitamin E in flower buds of 17 Hemerocallis spp.was 27.4%.Among the materials,the highest vitamin E content was 65.247 mg/100g,which was detected in H.'Suqian 1',H.'Chongli 1' exhibited least quality,reaching 27.658 mg/100g.(3)By using atomic absorption spectrophotometric method to determine 10 mineral elements,the results indicated that K,Na,Ca,Mg,Cu,Fe,Mn and Zn could be detected in 17 species of Hemerocallis spp..Among the materials,the average content of major elements such as K,Na,Ca and Mg was individually 2332.655 mg/kg,374.995 mg/kg,3043.416 mg/kg and 386.515 mg/kg,trace elements such as Cu,Fe,Mn and Zn are 8.046 mg/kg,28.047 mg/kg,19.029 mg/kg and 25.583 mg/kg,respectively.But Co was only detected in H.'Stella Deoro 1' and H.'Dongzhuang yellow',the content of Co was differently 0.470 mg/kg and 0.301 mg/kg.Se was not detected in 17 Hemerocallis spp..(4)Optimizing filtering wavelength of colchicine detection by HPLC,the optimum wavelength was determined at 350nm eventually.Among the materials,colchicine could not be detected in H.'wild Hemerocallis fulva 3',H.'Suqian 1',H.'Suqian 2',H.'Suqian 3',H.'Huaian 1',H.'Huaian 2',H.'Panlong' and H.'Chongqing'.Colchicine was detected in the other nine kinds of flower buds materials.The highest colchicine content was 0.218 ug/g,which was detected in H.'wild yellow 1',followed by the H.'North yellow' with 0.204 ug/g;H.'Long mouth 1' exhibited least quality,reaching 0.156 ug/g.Furthermore,the correlation coefficient of colchicine and color was-0.894,reaching an extremely remarkable level.(5)After analysing of the correlation of 15 quality traits of Hemerocallis spp.,the results show that the correlation between the quality traits was different.In order to avoid the interference of the comprehensive evaluation information,6 principal factors which represent 89.828%information content of initial data relatively independent were extracted combined with the results of Factor Analysis from 15 quality traits.6 principal factors was named as fat-soluble vitamins and mineral elements factor,Ca factor,protein factor,vitamin C and ?-carotene factor,alkaloid and Zn factor and sugar factor,respectively.The variance contribution rate was decreased in turn.(6)The score coefficient matrix of each principal factor was obtained by using regression analysis methods to establish model of the score of each principal factor and comprehensive evaluation.The varieties of comprehensively optimal evaluation as follow:H.'Dongzhuang yellow',H.'Stella Deoro 1',H.'Huaian 1',H.'Huaian 2',H.'Suqian 1',H.'Suqian 1',H.'wild yellow 1',H.'Suqian 3',H.'Qiezi 1',H.'wild Hemerocallis fulva 3',H.'Long mouth 1',H.'Chongli 1',H.'North Yellow',H.'Chazi',H.'Dali yellow',H.'Panlong' and H.'Chongqing'.H.'Dongzhuang yellow' exhibited the highest comprehensive score,reaching 0.517,followed by the H.'Stella Deoro 1' with 0.510;while H.'Dali yellow',H.'Panlong' and H.'Chongqing' were.the final three with 0.052,0.028 and-0.025 individually.
