Neurological diseases are characterized by ataxia, paralysis, spasm, and head tilt in adult dogs.CT is becoming more and more common in the application of canine neurological diseases. As people pay more and more attention to domestic pets, pets have more and more various diseases and become more and more complex, especially diseases of the nervous system, including diseases of the central nervous system and diseases of the peripheral nervous system.Spiral CT scanner can quickly understand the distribution of the central nervous system in the brain and evaluate the status of various tissues, and the size and position of intracranial lesions. It is a non-invasive method of examination.Central nervous system diseases cannot be judged through general examinations, but spiral CT scanners can make accurate judgments on central nervous system diseases. The images of the lesions are intuitive and clear, the detection time is short, and doctors are greatly improved. The diagnosis rate of pet central nervous system diseases. Therefore,it is of great significance to discuss the clinical application of spiral CT scanner in canine diagnosis of central nervous system diseases. The test results show:(1)A totally of 100 lesions were found in 60 dogs with central nervous system diseases, including 60 cases with multiple sites and 0 cases with single lesions.(2)12 cases of congenital craniocerebral developmental malformation including arachonid cyst and cerebral fissure malformation,Schizencephaly;Craniocerebral injury: a report of 22 cases including skull fracture, intracranial hematoma,Cerebral trauma complications;12 cases of Cerebrovascular Disease including Cerebral Infarction;13 cases of hydrocephalus included 8 cases of communicating hydrocephalus and 5 cases of obstructive hydrocephalus; One case showed middle nasal septum dissolution and partial skull dissolution.(3)Most lesions show nodules, round masses, hematoma around will generally produce edema, its degree is mild,moderate,severe.(4)The lesions showed homogeneous or slightly high density on plain CT scan.(5)Of 60 dogs with multiple brain injuries,54 had hematoma in subarachnoid space, third ventricle, lateral ventricle, and hydrocephalus. The results of this experiment show that the United States spiral CT plain scan technology can better show the lesions of the nervous system, make the diagnosis and evaluation of central system diseases become more simple and rapid,to treat the central nervous system of patients with canines Systemic diseases provide new diagnostic methods. In the examination of the primary central nervous system,CT scan technology has great diagnostic value and differential value.
