As the subject for ensuring food security,cultivated land resources play a very important role in the long-term and stable development of the society.The natural quality conditions and the site environmental conditions covering the values of stable use and ecological functions of cultivated land resources are mutually coordinated in the protection of cultivated land resources.At the same time,the cultivated land resources in China have obvious regional differences.Therefore,quantifying the synergistic relationship between the two is a key issue for the permanent protection of cultivated land resources in China.Taking Liaoning Province as an example,this paper uses the coupling coordination model to quantify the synergetic relationship between the natural quality and the site environment system in different landscape areas,and thus builds the comprehensive quality of cultivated land resources in different geomorphological areas based on the LESA system and field verification.Get the following result:The natural quality conditions of cultivated land resources cover the conditions such as soil and topography,which are the basic factors affecting the quality of cultivated land resources,especially the high and stable production of grain.The Liaoning plain area focuses on the soil conditions.The hilly area in the western Liaoning has the same evaluation system as the mountain area in the eastern Liaoning and is greatly affected by the terrain conditions.The order of the natural quality conditions of cultivated land in different landform areas is plain area in the central Liaoning > hilly area in the western Liaoning > mountain area in the eastern Liaoning,indicating that there is a clear regularity between the natural quality and slope,and there is an advantage in the natural quality conditions of cultivated land in plain area in the central Liaoning,which is the necessary guarantee for high yield and stable production.The site environmental conditions of cultivated land resources are indicators for analyzing the social environmental conditions of cultivated land resources and the possibility of non-agriculturalization,which are environmental conditions that guarantee the stable and sustainable use of cultivated land resources,involving the use conditions,regional conditions,and ecological and environmental conditions.There are differences in the evaluation indicators,index grading standards,and index weights of the site environmental conditions in different geomorphological areas.The plain area in the central Liaoning focuses on infrastructure,and the hilly areas in western Liaoning focus on the stable benefits of cultivated land resources,while the ecological and environmental conditions of cultivated land resources in mountain area in the eastern Liaoning have a greater impact on the system.The order of the environmental conditions of cultivated land in different landform areas is hilly area in the western Liaoning > mountain area in the eastern Liaoning > plain area in the central Liaoning,indicating that the hilly area in western Liaoning has the advantages of overall environmental conditions,and has a long-term and stable potential for use.The optimal synergy ratios of cultivated land natural conditions and site environmental conditions in the hilly areas of western Liaoning,the plain area in the central Liaoning,and the hilly area in the western Liaoning are 6:4,4:6,and 5:5,respectively.Based on the proportional coefficient,arable land quality evaluation system that meets the regional difference characteristics is constructed.The difference in the quality evaluation system of cultivated land resources in different landscape areas reflects the characteristics of its internal conditions.Hilly region of western Liaoning should give full play to the advantages of site environmental conditions,the plain area in the central Liaoning has a superior natural quality endowment,and The natural quality and site environmental conditions in the Liaodong Mountain region have given full play to the regional functional orientation and have a consistent effect on the population carrying the scale.In carrying out the use of cultivated land resources,it is necessary to give full play to its existing advantages and functions,and to conditionally increase the value of other functions,so as to improve the overall utilization efficiency of cultivated land resources and increase its long-term stable utilization potential.Through the empirical analysis of the collaborative system of natural quality and site environmental conditions of cultivated land in different landscape areas,the cultivated land of Liaoning divided into three types of areas based on the natural quality conditions of the cultivated land,site environmental conditions,and comprehensive quality scores.The first is the core conservation area of arable land resources,which has both the advantages of natural quality and site environmental conditions.The second is the advantage of arable land resources improvement area,which retains some of the natural quality or site environmental advantages.The third is the key areas for arable land management.Which are poor both natural quality and the environmental condition.In the future construction and rectification process,differentiated management should be implemented.The study integrated the quantity,quality and ecological environment of cultivated land resources,fully considered the characteristics of regional differentiation of cultivated land use,and provided methodological guidance for guiding the demarcation of permanent basic farmland at the provincial scale and even at the national scale.
