A new breed of wheat“Changhang 1”was used as a test material to study the effects of different sowing rates on yield and lodging resistance, during 2016-2017,at the Yongshou Dry Farming Experiment Station of the Northwest A&F University,.In order to provide a new lease on the“Changhang 1”the large-scale promotion of varieties provides theoretical support. The results showed that“Changhang 1”is suitable for high yields of 180 kg/hm2 to202 kg/hm2.The main experimental research results are following:1.The sowing rate had a significant effect on the individual biological characteristics of wheat“Changhang 1”.The plant height in wheat had the tendency of decreasing first and then increasing. The tillering and leaf age and the dry weight of each plant all showed a decreasing trend with the increase of sowing volume. There was a significant difference among treatments.Under the condition of sowing 180 kg/hm2,the comprehensive performance of the biological characteristics during the wintering and jointing stages was the best.Among them, the plant height, leaf age,and dry weight per plant of the treatment 2(180kg/hm2)during the wintering period were the best. That was 19.2%,7.3%and 60.5%higher than the recommended sowing volume(225 kg/hm2).The plant height, leaf age,and dry weight per plant of the jointing stage were 17.2%,20.8%,and 64.7%higher than the recommended production sowing rate(225 kg/hm2)is.2.The sowing rate had a certain effect on the net photosynthetic rate of functional leaves of the main stem in the flowering stage of“Changhang 1”wheat.With the increase of sowing volume, the net photosynthetic rate of the flag leaf decreased first and then increased. The net photosynthetic rate of the flag leaf with the recommended production volume(225 kg/hm2)was the highest, which was 9.34μmolCO2·m-2·s-1.Compared with the treatment 2(180 kg/hm2)with the lowest net photosynthetic rate of the flag leaf, the net photosynthetic rate was25.54%higher.When the sowing rate was 247 kg/hm2,the highest net photosynthetic rate was 5.93μmol CO2·m-2·s-1.Compared with the treatment 1(157 kg/hm2)with the lowest net photosynthetic rate in the inverted bivalves, the net photosynthetic rate was 39.86%higher.3.The sowing amount had a significant effect on the yield and composition of“Changhang 1”wheat.With the increase of sowing volume, the panicle number,1000-grain weight and yield all showed a trend of increasing first and then decreasing. When the sowing volume was 180 kg/hm2,the yield and panicle number of wheat were the highest, which were5934.45 kg/hm2 and 534.33×104 ears/hm2 respectively, which was significantly higher than other treatments. When the sowing volume was 270 kg/hm2,the number of grains per ear was the highest, significantly higher than other treatments.when the sowing volume was 225kg/hm2,the 1000-grain weight of wheat was the highest, which was significantly higher than other treatments.Through optimization, the suitable amount of“Changhang 1”wheat was between 180 kg/hm2and 202 kg/hm2.4.The sowing rate had a significant effect on the lodging resistance of“Changhang 1”wheat.The results showed that when the sowing volume was 180 kg/hm2,“Changhang 1”wheat had the best lodging resistance. The first internode resistance index of wheat was11.11%higher than the recommended sowing volume. The second internode resistance index of wheat sowing is same as the recommended production sowing volume.5.The grain protein content and processing quality of“Changhang 1”wheat was relatively stable, and the affected sowing volume was not significant.
