1.Effects of dietary Angelica polysaccharide(AP)on growth performa nce, antioxidant capacity, serum immune indexes and serum biochemi cal indexes of juvenile golden pompano(Trachinotus ovatus)To study the effects of dietary Angelica polysaccharide(AP)on growth performance, hepatic antioxidant capacity, serum immune indexes and serum biochemical indexes of juvenile golden pompano(Trachinotus ovatus),six diets were prepared with the addition of 0%(control group),0.05%,0.10%,0.20%,0.40% and 0.80% AP,respectively. The fish[(4.99±0.08)g] were assigned randomly into six groups with three replicates per group and 20 fish per replicate.Fish were cultured in cages, and fed twice daily for eight weeks. The results showed that the final body weight, weight gain rate and specific growth rate were not significantly affected by AP levels(P>0.05).The superoxide dismutase activity and total antioxidant capacity of fish fed 0.10% AP diet were significant higher than 0.80% AP group and control group(P<0.05).The content of complement 3 and complement 4 of 0.10% and 0.20% AP groups were significant higher thancontrol group(P<0.05).Fish fed 0.10% AP diet showed higher lysozyme activity than control fish(P<0.05),and lower aminotransferase activity, cholesterol and triglyceride than fish fed 0.40% AP,0.80% AP and control fish(P<0.05).In conclusion, dietary AP could improve antioxidant capacity, immunity of juvenile golden pompano, but not the growth. The suitable supplementation level of AP in diet of juvenile golden pompano is suggested to be 0.10%.2.Effects of dietary Lycium barbarum polysaccharide(LBP)on growth performance, antioxidant capacity, serum immune indexes and serum biochemical indexes of juvenile golden pompano(Trachinotus ovatus)To study the effects of dietary Lycium barbarum polysaccharide(LBP)on growth performance, antioxidant capacity, serum immune indexes and serum biochemical indexes of juvenile golden pompano(Trachinotus ovatus),six diets were prepared with the addition of 0%(control group),0.05%,0.10%,0.20%,0.40% and 0.80% LBP,respectively. The fish[(7.45±0.06)g] were assigned randomly into six groups with three replicates per group and 20 fish per replicate.Fish were cultured in cages, and fed twice daily for eight weeks. The results showed that the final body weight, weight gain rate and specific growth rate were not significantly affected by LBP levels(P>0.05).The muscle crude protein content of fish fed 0.10% LBP diet was significant higher than 0.80% LBP group and control group(P<0.05).The superoxide dismutase activity of fish fed 0.10% and 0.20%LBP diet were significant higher than control group(P<0.05),while the content of malondialdehyde lower than control group(P <0.05).The catalase activity of 0.10%,0.20%,0.40% and 0.80% LBP groups were significant higher than control group(P<0.05).The glutathione peroxidase activity and total antioxidant capacity of 0.10% LBP group were significant higher than control group(P<0.05).The content of complement 3 of 0.10%LBP group was significant higher than control fish(P<0.05).The content of complement 4 of 0.10%,0.20% and 0.40% LBP groups were significant higher than control group(P<0.05).The lysozyme activity of 0.10% and0.20% LBP groups significant higher than 0.40% LBP group,0.80% LBP group, and control group(P<0.05).The glucose, cholesterol, triglyceride, high density lipoprotein cholesterol and low density lipoprotein cholesterol were significantly affected by LBP levels(P<0.05).In conclusion, dietary LBP could significantly improve antioxidant capacity, immunity of juvenile golden pompano, but not the growth. The suitable supplementation level of LBP in diet of juvenile golden pompano is suggested to be 0.10%.3.Effects of dietary Astragalus polysaccharides(APS)on growth perfo rmance, antioxidant capacity, serum immune indexes and serum bioch emical indexes of juvenile golden pompano(Trachinotus ovatus)To study the effects of dietary Astragalus polysaccharides(APS)ongrowth performance, antioxidant capacity, serum immune indexes and serum biochemical indexes of juvenile golden pompano(Trachinotus ovatus),six diets were prepared with the addition of 0%(control group),0.05%,0.10%,0.20%,0.40% and 0.80% APS,respectively. The fish[(4.70±0.07)g] were assigned randomly into six groups with three replicates per group and 30 fish per replicate.Fish were cultured in cages, and fed twice daily for eight weeks. The results showed that the final body weight, weight gain rate and specific growth rate increased firstly and then decreased with the increase of APS levels,0.20% and 0.40% APS groups significant higher than 0.80% APS group and control group(P<0.05).The whole fish composition was not significantly affected by APS levels(P>0.05).The muscle crude protein content of fish fed 0.10%,0.20% and0.40% APS diets were significant higher than control group(P<0.05).The superoxide dismutase activity of fish fed 0.10% and 0.20% APS diets were significant higher than control group(P<0.05).The content of malondialdehyde of fish fed 0.20% and 0.40% APS diets were significant lower than control group(P<0.05),while the glutathione peroxidase activity higher than control group(P<0.05).The total antioxidant capacity of 0.20% APS group was significant higher than control group(P<0.05).The content of complement 3 and complement 4 of 0.20% and 0.40% APS groups were significant higher than control group(P<0.05).The lysozymeactivity of control group was significant lower than the other groups(P<0.05).The total protein, cholesterol, triglyceride, high density lipoprotein cholesterol and low density lipoprotein cholesterol were significantly affected by APS levels(P<0.05).In conclusion, dietary APS could significantly promote the growth performance, improve antioxidant capacity and immunity of juvenile golden pompano. The suitable supplementation level of APS in diet of juvenile golden pompano is suggested to be 0.20%.
