Effects Of Herbal Biological Conditioner On Reproductive Performance Of Sows

The author makes a research on the effect of sow reproductive performance indicators,the antibody level indicator and sow colostrum ingredients by adding 1% compound Chinese herbal medicine(herbal biological conditioners)on the daily diet.In the experiment,the author choose 34 healthy sows with similar status before 21 days of birth.According to their age and fetal times,they were randomly divided into experimental group and control group.Each group had 17 sows and 17 repeats,each repetition for one sow.Adopting single-factor completely random design method,the author added 1% herb biological conditioner to the daily diet of sows in exprimental group,while the sows in control group just maintain the basic diet.The whole experimental period lasted from the 93 days of pregnancy to weaning estrus.The purposes of study are regulating sow liver detoxification and immune function,improve the body disease resistance and health level,reduce yellow scour of piglets and improve the survival rate,shorten the sow after weaning time.For the intensive production conditions using Chinese herbal medicine conditioning to sow health care,prevention treatment of sow breeding disorders to provide experimental data.The experiment shows the results as follows:(1)the biological conditioner can significantly increase the number of estrus sows and can significantly shorten the estrus time after weaning.After 7 days of weaning,the sows in experimental group are all in extrus,while the control group was only 88.23%(P < 0.05).(2)the biological conditioner can significantly improve the sow's antibody levels of blue ear disease,swine fever and pseudo Gb.Besides,it can also improve sow's resistance ability to diseases to maintain the stability of the sows(P < 0.05).(3)the biological conditioner can significantly improve the content of the nutrients in breast milk and significantly enhance the level of the protein in colostrum.For the sow lactation quantity,it also has a certain degree of promoting effect(P < 0.05).(4)the biological conditioner is good for sows to produce healthy piglets,which has an increasing tendency.(P > 0.05)(5)the biological conditioner has the trends in increasing the number of alive pigs afterweaning,the weight of weaned piglets and reducing the incidence of infecting yellow scours and white scours.(P > 0.05).From the results of the test,the addition of 1% herbal biological conditioner to the daily diet of sows before 21 days of birth can effectively reduce the number postpartum lochiorrhea of sows and shorten the estrus time after weaning,enhance the antibody level,improve the quality of breast,meanwhile the growth performance of piglets and the yellow scour of newborn piglets to promote the trend,for improving sow reproductive performance has an important role.
