Aerobic irrigation is a new type of water-saving irrigation technology.It can improve oxygen content in soil plough layer,effectively promote crop growth,increase crop yield and quality.experiment was conducted in greenhouse and different aerobic irrigation method?A2treatment:Oxygation every two hours,A4 treatment:Oxygation every four hours,A8treatment:Oxygation every eight hours,CK:Without oxygen irrigated?was used to cucumber during each growth period.Oxygen content in different depth of plough layer;cucumber leaves'chlorophyll;soluble sugar;soluble protein and photosynthetic charateristics?net photosynthetic rate,stomatal conductance,intercellular CO2,transpiration rate?;roots activity;roots agronomic traits;roots health index;yield and quality were measured.To study the effect of oxygen content in different depth of soil plough layer on cucumber leaves and roots physiological and biochemical characteristics during different growth period.It provides theoretical foundation for aerobic irrigation.The experimental results showed that:?1?Oxygen content in different depth of soil plough layer could be greatly improved with aerobic irrigation,With the increase of depth,Oxygen content in different depth of soil plough layer would be gradually reduced.On the same day and in the same depth,Oxygen content at noon was higher than the other time??2?Oxygen aeration A2 treatment;A4 treatment;A8 treatment?leaves'index;roots'index;cucumber's yield and quality?were higher than CK.?3?In seeding stage,roots activity,roots agronomic traits,roots health index was A4>A2>A8>CK.However,in flowering stage and mature stage,these index both were A2>A4>A8>CK.Cucumber leaves's index and roots'index show the consistency.It indicated that,in seeding stage,not the higher oxygen content in soil plough layer but appropriate oxygen content was more suitable for the growth of cucumber.However,in flowering stage and mature stage,the higher oxygen content was good for leaves growed.?4?Correlation analysis showed that there was a significant positive correlation between oxygen content and leaves'index;roots'index;cucumber's yield and quality.Oxygen content in soil plough layer could effectively promote the cucumber roots;leaves;yield and quality.
