Litchi is a special subtropical fruit in southern China,It is mainly distributed in Guangdong,Guangxi,Fujian and Hainan provinces.Under the national strategic background of promoting innovation-driven and agricultural supply-side reform.It helps to promote the rapid development of the litchi industry in the country when we achieve the mechanization of litchi picking.At present,litchi picking is mainly hand-picked,the labor intensity is big,and the operation cost is high.In recent years,the rapid development of urbanization has led to the transfer of rural labor force to cities and surrounding areas.It urgently needs to develop and apply suitable litchi pickers,and we need to improve the mechanization of production.So,this paper designs a kind of Column-comb litchi picker and do some experiments.The following research is mainly done:(1)A column-combed litchi picker was designed.It consists mainly of picking mechanism,hydraulic system,Angle regulating mechanism,power system and control system.(2)The picker geometry model was established through Solidworks software.Building the physical model of the fruit in EDEM and simulating the distribution of Litchi on the trees through particle factories,using EDEM2.7 to simulate the picking process,The average compressive force,resultant force,kinetic energy and total energy of the fruit are obtained over time based on discrete elements method and particle contact theory.(3)The process of picking is studied through high-speed photography and image processing,the movement pattern of litchi was analyzed statistically.The results showed that the greater column-comb picker frequency,the fewer number of collision with the comb bar,The path of the fruit is a second parabolic curve that is approximately open.(4)The single-factor experiment was carried out,and we took the frequency of the comb,the spacing of the comb and the recombination of the comb bar,experimental research and analysis of the picker.Single factor test results show that the picking machine between the frequency comb pendulum and productivity significantly quadratic function positive correlation,the comb bar spacing between productivity and significantly negative correlation between the three function,comb rod coincidence degree between the productivity and a quadratic function is extremely significant correlation.Through orthogonal experiment,the paper analyzes the main factors of the influence degree of the effect of picking,determines the optimum combination parameters: place for 19 Hz frequency comb,comb bar spacing is 100 mm,the comb bar contact ratio is 60%.(5)Through the quality comparison test,the fruit quality difference was compared between mechanical picking and artificial picking.The test results show that the comb through crisscross platoon type litchi picking machine picked litchi fruit and artificial picked type litchi fruit Soluble Solid content,Total Soluble Solid,TSS)and Titratable acid,Titratable acid,TA)as well as the color L *,a *,b * values on the preservation quality no difference significant difference.
