Camellia fruit picking machine is one of the urgent problem in the development of Camellia industry,of which bud injury is a difficult problem in the process of Camellia fruit harvest by picking machine.Therefore,the domestic and foreign research about fruit picking mechanization were analyzed in this paper,a tooth comb dial knife Camellia fruit picking device was designed,also a tooth comb dial knife Camellia fruit picking device of 3D model was established and simulation analyzed,the prototype was manufactured and tested as well.(1)As ripe Camellia fruit and bud appeared in the same period,Camellia bud would be easily damaged by mechanical picking devices,thereby influenced the production of Camellia fruit the next year.So,a new type of the tooth comb dial knife Camellia fruit picking device was designed to solve this problem,through which every dial knife acted independently to avoid hindering by thick Camellia branches.When one of the knives was blocked by the branches,the other parallel cutters can continue to move.(2)The 3D model tooth comb dial knife Camellia fruit picking device was created and the principle of dial fruit was analyzed,the movement of the front end of the cutter was simulated by ADAMS software as well.Simulation results show that when the moving knife arm remains unchanged,increasing tension on the dial knife device,the angular velocity and angular acceleration of moving knife will be increased.While the moving knife device on the tension keeps constant,reducing the moving knife device arm,the angular velocity and angular acceleration of moving knife will be decreased.The main factors of picking effect are up to the pulling force and the arm of dial knife.(3)In order to reveal the theory of Camellia bud damage in mechanical picking of Camellia,the effect between the tooth combing device and the Camellia was analyzed,the 3D model between tooth comb dial knife and Camellia fruit and bud were established in the ANSYS Workbench,the interaction between the dial knife device and Camellia fruit and bud were Simulated at different initial velocity and acceleration.Simulation results show that the critical initial velocity and the acceleration of the Camellia fruit peeling off were 5m/s and 2m/s2 respectively,and the bud of Camellia was also achieved under the same condition.In order to analyze the injury of Camellia,the critical initial velocity and the acceleration of Camellia bud dropping were 3 m/s and 2 m/s2 respectively.(4)The simulation results were optimized according to the practical application,When the knife thickness becomes 1.5 times of the original,the Camellia fruit off thecritical knife speed and acceleration were 3.4 m/s and 1.3 m/s2 respectively.When the knife thickness becomes 2 times the original,the speed and acceleration of critical knife to peeling off the Camellia fruit were 2.5 m/s and 1 m/s2 respectively.As the knife thickness becomes 2.5 times of the original,the speed and acceleration of the critical knife to peeling off camellia fruit were 2m/s and 0.8 m/s2 respectively.While the knife thickness becomes 3 times of the original,the speed and acceleration of the critical knife to peeling off camellia fruit were 1.7 m/s and 0.7 m/s2 respectively.Optimizing the thickness of the knife,the critical speed and acceleration to peeling off the Camellia fruit were reduced greatly,which further improve the practical application of the device in theory.(5)Prototype were developed and tested in this paper.Experimental results show that tooth comb dial knife Camellia picking device can effectively improve the efficiency of picking compare to picking by man hand,and the Camellia bud damage is reduced in the picking process.This result can provide a reference for the mechanical picking technology of Camellia.
