Epidemiological Investigation Of Sheep Echinococcosis In Yumen City

Echinococcosis,also known as hydatidosis,is a serious human caused by larval echinococcosis of E.granulos infecting mammals and humans.Animals suffer from parasitic diseases.Yumen City is located in the northwest of Gansu Province.Echinococcus disease,especially sheep echinococcus disease,is still in vogue and poses a serious threat to the local public health security and the development of the aquaculture industry.In order to master the infection and epidemic characteristics of hydatid disease in sheep in Yumen,the following studies have been conducted:1.The site investigation of sheep echinococcus infectionA total of 3153 sheep slaughtered at the slaughterhouse in Yumen City were subjected to a pre-slaughter body test and the presence of cysts during post-mortem examination.During 2016,it was found that there were obvious hydatid cysts in the organs of 118 sheep.The infection rate was 3.74%,vesicles are mainly concentrated in the liver,there are differences in the infection of sheep at different ages,the older the higher the infection rate.2.The epidemiological investigation of echinococcosis in sheepELISA kits were used to investigate the infection and prevalence of Echinococcus species in 14 townships(towns)of Yumen City in 2016.The results of the previous four years were compared with those of the previous four years to analyze the development trend of the disease in Yumen City.The results showed that 368 serum samples from 4,360 serum samples from sheep were positive,with a positive rate of 4.33%;among them,Xiaojinwan Township,Liuhu Township,Dushanzi Township,and Nonglin Farm Station did not have positive positivity,and the highest positive rate was.Huahai Town,8.05%;epidemiological survey results show that from 2012 to 2016,the infection rate of sheep echinococcus in the sheep in Yumen City showed a trend of decreasing year by year.4.Canine Echinococcus antigen detectionTo collected 271 samples of dog feces samples from 12 townships(towns)of Yumen City,ELISA was used to detect Echinococcus antigens.The results showed that 18 positive samples were detected,with a positive rate of 6.64%,of which the positive rate was highest in Huahai Town.It is 15.09%.This study confirmed the prevalence of sheep echinococcus disease in Yumen City.The findings provide epidemiological data and scientific evidence for disease prevention and control.
