In order to improve the production performance of Guangxi Yao chicken,this experiment adopts to the local chicken of Guangxi Yao“Y” chickens for the terminal male parent,with two lines form a complete set of combination “AH”,“DH”,“MH” as female parent to form a complete set of three-line hybrid,hybrid offspring YAH,YDH,YMH respectively.The effects of the three-line hybrid were evaluated by the appearance characteristics,production performance,slaughter performance and mscent quantitative PCR,which can provide reference for the research aeat quality of the hybrid offspring.At the same time,to study the relationship between the expression of the GPD1 gene and fat deposition,intramuscular fat content from the molecular level in order to select the best combination,the expression level of GPD1 in liver tissue of different hybrids at 16 weeks old was detect by fluorend utilization of germplasm resources.The test results are as follows:(1)The change of feather color and shank color of chickens: When the three combinations hatched,the feather color was mainly shallow hemp.With the increase of age,the proportion of shallow hemp feathers of three combinations of hens was decreased,the proportion of deep hemp feathers increased,and the proportion of yellow feathers did not change significantly.The rooster will begin to appear red-brown feathers at 5-6 weeks old,and then it became jujube red,and after 8 weeks old,the hen’s feather color was basically fixed and the cock was slightly late.The coloration of the three combinations is yellow at the time of hatching,the shank color change of the three matching combinations was from light to deep,and eventually becomes the shank color.The appearance characteristics of the three combinations at 16 weeks old were basically conformed to the appearance characteristics of Guangxi Yao chicken.(2)Production performance and body measurements: The body weights of the three combined combinations except birth weight were significantly higher in the YAH combination than in the YDH combination and the YMH combination(P<0.05).(P<0.05);body measurements: in addition to chest angles at all weeks of age,the body measurements of YAH combination were greater than the other two combinations,and most of the indicators were significantly different(P<0.05).In combination with body weight and body measurements,the YAH combination performed better than the YDH combination and the YMH combination in the three combinations.(3)Slaughter performance: The slaughter rates of the 16-week-old cocks and hens of the three matching combinations were all higher than 85%,and the total net waxing rate was above 65%.The three combinations had better meat production performance.Among the difference sexes of the same breed,the abdominal fat rate and breast muscle ratio,sebum thickness of YDH,intermuscular fat width of YAH and YDH hens were significantly higher than that of the cocks(P<0.05),the slaughter rate,leg muscle ratio,semi-evisceration weight of YDH and YMH,evisceration weight of YAH and YDH of cocks were significantly higher than those of hens(P<0.05);the live weight,carcass weight,evisceration weight,sebum thickness and the intermuscular fat width were YAH>YDH>YMH of the same sexes between different breed.In summary,the YAH slaughter performance is superior to the YDH combination and the YMH combination among the three matching combinations.(4)Meat quality: Among the difference sexes,the moisture content of the chest and leg muscles of the cooks was higher than that of the hens.The dry matter content and intramuscular fat of chest and leg muscles of the hens were more than the cooks,but most of the differences were not significant(P> 0.05).Among the different breeds,the shear force of the chest and leg muscles of the YAH and YMH combination cocks were significantly higher than that of the YDH group(P<0.05).The dry matter content of the chest and leg muscles of the YAH hens were significantly higher than that of the YMH group(P<0.05).The chest muscle IMF of YAH group and YDH group hens were 3.08% and 3.44%,respectively,which was significantly higher than that of YMH group(2.00%)(P<0.05).The chest muscle IMF of YAH group cocks was 2.83%,which was significantly higher than YDH group(1.83)and YMH group(1.56%)(P<0.05),the leg muscle IMF of YDH group hens was 7.94%,which was significantly higher than YAH group(6.48%)and YMH group(5.59%)(P<0.05).Compared to the three combinations,the YAH and YDH groups had a higher meat value than the YMH group.(5)GPD1 gene expression level analysis: In three different combinations,the expression of GPD1 gene was inversely related to fat deposition and intramuscular fat content.In hens,YMH expression was significantly higher than YAH combination and YDH combination(P<0.05).In cocks,the expression of YMH was significantly higher than that of YAH(P<0.05).In summary,the YAH combination is better,it can meet the requirements of consumers’ appearance and growth performance to a certain extent and suitable for the target market.
