Lysionotusbelongs to Gesneriaceae,there are about 28 species in the world,about 25 species in China,6 varieties and 18 endenic species.Lysionotusplantsare unique in flower shape,indoor can be potted to watch and beautify the living room,outdoor can be landscaping,soil and water conservation,this genus contains flavonoids.Chem ical components such as Lysionotin and ursolic acid have medicinal functions such as anti-virus,antitussive,sputum,and asthma,and are valuable wild plant resources.The lack of awareness of the genus of plants and the lack of research and promotion power for businessmen and scholars have not yet been widely used in landscaping and medical engineering.They can only be forgotten in the mountains.In this paper,a comprehensive study was conducted on the morphological traits,pollen micromorphology,and seed coatmicromorphology of the plant wax leaf specimens,which solved some of the historical problems of Lysionotus and some of its close relatives.Lysionotus provides a certain theoretical basis for its ornamental value,medicinal value,andspecies protection.1.Characters of waxy leaf plantsIn this study,37 domestic and foreign well-known plant herbariums were c onsulted,including about 640 Lysionotus wax leaf specimens from abroad and ab out 3,000 wax leaf specimens from China,totaling about 3600 specimens.We ac curately measured more than 1,200 representative specimens.Measurements,som e revisions and additions were made to the FOC and other books.The genus of this genus was used to search for the genus,and the taxonomic value of the tra its was evaluated.Using the scanning electron microscope(SEM)digital photography techniqu e to study the 13 species of Lysionotus and Anna's plant seeds of the closely re lated group Anna,we found that the seeds of this study were spindle-shaped,ha irless,and all had strips or hairlike appendages.Brown.The surface ornamentati on is divided into a grid ornamentation such as L.oblongifolius,and a strip orn amentation such as L.longipedunculatus.All of the seed coats in this study hada nnular particles.The particles were connected in a beaded manner,L.sangzhiens is,or particles were not connected to each other.For example,L.wardii.Anna was generally smaller in body size,and both end attachments were shorter than main body.3.PalynologyThe electron nicroscope was used to scan the pollen of nine species of Lysionotus and the pollen of Anna,Loxostigma,and Aeschynanthusin their close relatives.It was found that the four pollen(P×E)were all le ss than 350,which were small pollen grains.3 cracked circles,holes with 3 holes.Lysusotus pollen grains are nearly spherical,while Loxostigma griffithii,Ann mollifolia,and Aeschynanthus hookeri are long spherical.The pollen ornamentation observed in this paper have two types of ornamentation(1)fine mesh ornamentation,including L.longipedunculatus,L.petelotii,L.sangzhiensis,L.sessilifolius,L.wardii,L.heterophyllus var.mollis,L.Hainanensis,L.griffithii;(2)coarsely reticular ornamentation,Anna mollifolia,L.heterophyllus var.heterophyllus,L.pauciflorus var.pauciflorus.We found through observation that the pollen width of the pollen wasgreatly different.The narrower ones were L.griffithii,the width was 0.11 to 0.48 ?m,and the widest were L.longipedunculatus,and the width was 2.03 to 2.92 ?m.Support Wang Wencai to view L.heterophyllus var.mollis as a variant of L.heterophyllus var.heterophyllus.We have analyzed the important basis for the grouping of Anna.
