With the vigorous development of modern agricultural information technology in our country,"Intelligent Agriculture" has become one of the important strategies for the rapid development of China’s agriculture.Henan,as a big agricultural province,but the use of irrigation water and various chemical fertilizers has not been properly used,and water and fertilizer utilization efficiency is extremely low.This article is how to improve the utilization rate of water resources and fertilizers,so as to meet the requirements of "precision agriculture" and achieve accurate fertilization and irrigation.This is of great significance in farmland water-saving and fertilizer-saving irrigation in Henan.In view of the fact that current intelligent irrigation systems in China are largely copying or replicating foreign-designed smart irrigation systems.Many designs do not conform to China’s basic national conditions.System costs are relatively expensive and construction is difficult.The starting point of this study is the integration of two modern agricultural technologies : water and fertilizer integration and wireless sensor network.A WSN(wireless sensor network)-based intelligent irrigation system for water and fertilizer integration was preliminarily designed.After the application of the experimental field,the system has the characteristics of low cost,simple construction,simple operation,and stable data transmission.The main contents of this study include:(1)The entire water and fertilizer integrated intelligent irrigation system architecture was designed.It is divided into three major parts,which are the core control system,fertilization irrigation system,and farmland soil moisture collection system.The core control system is mainly composed of a PLC(programmable logic controller)module and a PAD(touchable liquid crystal display);the fertilizing irrigation system mainly consists of fertilizing tanks,centrifugal pumps,electromagnetic valves,irrigation sprinklers,drip irrigation pipes,and other PVC pipes.The farm soil moisture collection system is mainly composed of relevant soil moisture sensor and GPRS(General Packet Radio Service)module.(2)In the system data display control end,the control interface of this system was designed.Through the LCD touch-screen display in the control cabinet,the working status of the field irrigation equipment,the real-time conditions of the farm soil moisture,and the corresponding irrigation equipment can be controlled by clicking on the screen.The intelligent control of water and fertilizer integrated irrigation was realized.(3)Through the application of the experimental field in the Agricultural Research Institute of Xihua County,the accuracy and stability of the system were tested,and the simplicity of the construction was verified in the field deployment of the irrigation system.Through the final analysis of the final yield of crops and the amount of fertilizer used during the fertilization period,it was verified that the system basically achieved the precise control of water and fertilizer and the purpose of water-saving irrigation.
