An experiment was conducted to determine the effects of dietary probiotic preparation on pig performance, plasma physiological and biochemical parameters, immune function, intestinal morphology and meat quality. We tried to explore the feasibility of compound probiotics to replace antibiotics in pig dietand provid the scientific basis for the feed without antibiotics in pigs.Seventy-two pigs(Landrace×Large white)were divided into three dietary groups(four replication per group and six pigs in each replication),compound probiotics group(basal diet with probiotic preparation 0.5%),blank control group(basal diet without antibiotic),antibiotic group(basal diet with antibiotic). There were two stages in this experiment, first stage from d27 to d55,the second stage is from d56 to d175.After first stage of the experiment,12 pigs in each replication with similar body weight were selected in each replication were slaughtered, plasma and intestinal tissue were collected. After the second stage of the experiment,12 pigs in each replication with similar body weight were selected in each replication were slaughtered to measure carcass traits and meat quality. The result showed that:(1)The diarrhea rate ofcompound probiotics groupwere significant lower than blank control group and antibiotic group(P<0.01),the production performance between three groups were not significant(P>0.05).During the second stage of the experiment, the ADG of antibiotic group were significant higher than the blank control group(P<0.05),while the compound probiotics group were not significant compared with the other two groups(P>0.05).The ADFI of antibiotic group were significant higher than another two groups. The weight of both compound probiotics group and antibiotic group were significant higher than the blank control group(P<0.05),while there were no significant differences between compound probiotics group and antibiotic group(P>0.05).The difference of F/G between the three groups were not significant(P>0.05).During the full stage of the experiment, the ADG of antibiotic group were significant higher than the blank control group(P<0.05),while the compound probiotics group were not significant compared with the other two groups(P>0.05).The F/G between the three groups were not significant(P>0.05).(2)Compared with antibiotic group the compound probiotics could significant increase AKP concentrations of plasma(P>0.05).The other plasma biochemical indicators were not significant between three groups.(3)The SIgA concentrations of jejunum mucous membrane of compound probiotics group were significant higher compared with antibiotic group(P<0.01),while there are no significant difference between compound probiotics group and blank control group(P>0.05).The IgG concentrations of jejunum mucous membrane of compound probiotics group were significant higher than another two groups(P<0.01).TheIL-1concentrations of jejunum mucous membrane of compound probiotics group were significant higher than blank control group(P<0.01).(4)No significant differences were observed on the height of villus on jejunum among the three groups(P>0.05).The crypt depth of compound probiotics group significant lower than antibiotic group(P<0.05),and no significant differences were observed on the crypt depth on jejunum between the compound probiotics group and blank control group(P>0.05).(5)The carcass weight of compound probiotics group and antibiotic group were significant higher than blank control group(P<0.05),and no significant differences were observed on the meat quality indexes among the three groups such as the Drip loss, the shear force and the slaughter rate(P>0.05).In conclusion, compound probioticscould debase the diarrhea rates and enhanced the immunity of piglets compared with another two groups. The compound probiotics could also increase the body weight of pigs compared with the blank control group. Therefore, compound probiotics could have positive impact on pig production.
