To reduce the harm of succession cropping obstacle,a bio-control method via contructing high soil microbial diversity in rhizosphere of crop was explored.Eggplant(Solanaceae Melong-Ena L.)was selected as a main crop and amaranth(Amaranthus tricolor Linn.),mint(Mentha haplocalyx Briq.),mustard(Brassica Juncea Coss.),leek(Allium tuberosum Rottler ex Preng-el.)and kidney beans(Phaseolus vularis L.)were cultivated peripherally around the eggplants as associated plant,respectively.Based on the modern and traditional analyzed techniques,the effect of intercropping on soil fertility and bacterial diversity in rhizosphere of eggplant were analyzed.The results are showed as fellow:1.The amounts of cultivable microorganisms.which include bacteria,fungi and actino-mycetes in intercropping treatments,were all higher than those of control.In particularly,the effect of intercropping onthe amounst of cultivatable actinomycetes showed the same trend as bacteria,but their effect on cultivatable actinomycetes was more significant than those on cultivable bacteria.2.The enzyme activities,which related to carbon,nitrogen and phosphorus cycles in soils under different intercropping treatments,were all higher than those of control.Among them,phosphatase activity was the highest in eggplant-mint system,and there were signific-ant differences with the other intercropping treatment except of the eggplant-bean system.In addition,soilaminopeptidase activities in different intercropping treatmentsshowed a similar trend with those of ?-glucosidase activitiesin different intercropping treatments.3.The soil microbial biomass carbon,nitrogen and phosphorus in rhizosphere of interc-ropping treatments were also higher than those of the control.It indicated that soil microbial biomass carbon,nitrogen and phosphorus in rhizosphere all could be improved by different intercropping treatments.And the kidney bean was the most effective intercropping plant for improving soil microbial biomass in rhizosphere of eggplants.4.The indexes of diversity,abundance and richness of bacteria,which analyzed on Genus and OTU levels,and the same indexes of fungicon phylun,order and OTU levels,all could be improved by intercropping treatments.However,kidney bean and leek were more effective intercropping plants for improving soil microbial diversity in rhizosphere of eggpla-nts.In summary,the amounts of cultivable bacteria,fungi and actinomycetes,enzyme activities,microbial biomass C,N,P and microbial diversity in rhizosphere soil of eggplants all could be improved by intercropping treatments.And the kidney bean and leek can be used as promoting associated plants for eggplant.
