Grafting is an effective technical measure to improve the resistance and high yield of vegetable crops.To improve the utilization efficiency of rootstock and scion during grafting,In this study,tomato(Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.,rootstock Jiulv 787 and scion Jiahong No.4),eggplant(Solanum melongena L.,rootstock Qiezhen No.1 and scion Yuanza 471),pepper(Capsicum annuum L.,rootstock Habo and scion Zhongjiao No.6)were applied to investigate the regeneration process of the residue of rootstock and scion after grafting,compared the cicatrization and growth indexes between grafted seedlings by regnerated plants and seed plants,and calculated the cost of residue cultivation.The main results were as follows:1.In the research,we observed the regeneration process of solanaceous vegetables residues of rootstock and scion after grafting,it was found that the rootstock residue could be regenerated by cutting and the axillary bud of the scion could be regenerated to form a complete seedling.Compared with seeding,it could shorten the tomato rootstock and scion breeding time for 16 days,the eggplant rootstock and scion breeding time for 45,10 days,respectively,the pepper rootstock and scion breeding time for 5 days,the cultivation effiency could be improved obviously.2.Design different grafting combinations {normal rootstock / normal scion(NR/NS),normal rootstock / regeneration scion(NR/RS),rootstock cuttings / normal scion(CR/NS),rootstock cuttings / regeneration scion(CR/RS)},the survival rate,resultant force,transporting capacity and the growth of grafed seedlings were observed.For tomatoe and eggplant,no significant difference(P≤0.05)was observed between NR/RS,CR/NS,CR/RS and NR/NS,the net growth between CR/NS,CR/RS and NR/NS of pepper were significantly different(P≤0.05).The quality of grafted seedlings showed that there was no significant difference between NR/RS,CR/NS,CR/RS and NR/NS by subordinate function method in tomato,eggplant and pepper.The results showed that grafting of solanaceous vegetables rootstock and scion residues had no significant effect on healing and growth of grafted seedlings.3.The cost of the rootstock and scion of residue grafted seedlings was obviously lower than that of seeded seedlings.For tomatoe,eggplant and pepper,compared with seeding,the cost of the rootstock and scion for every 10000 calculation of grafted seedlings could be saved about 875.5yuan,696.5 yuan and 907.3 yuan,respectively.As a result,the grafted of solanaceous vegetables rootstock and scion residues could reduce the cost of raising stock and scion,and increase economic benefits.
