This paper introduced seven parts of Y shape vertical rotary cultivator,which were the structural design,the kinematics and dynamics analysis of vertical rotary blade system,the bending deformation analysis of vertical rotary blade system and the field trials of Y shape vertical rotary cultivator,etc.The structural design of Y shape vertical rotary cultivator included five parts,which were the design of general structure,hanger,return roller,drive system and vertical rotary blade system,and the vertical rotary blade system had three kinds of design scheme.Through the kinematics analysis of the vertical rotary blade system,the paper could find that the trajectories of different points were a group of different length of cycloid.Through the dynamics analysis of the vertical rotary blade system,the paper could find that vertical rotary blade cutting process was a cyclical process and the cut resistance of the single vertical rotary cutter was analyzed.Through the ADAMS10.0simulation analysis,the paper found that reducing the walking speed of the tractor and increasing the speed of vertical rotary blade could improve the quality of broking soil.Through the bending deformation analysis of vertical rotary blade system,the paper found that the bending deformation ratio of design scheme 1 to design scheme 2 and design scheme 1 to design scheme 3 were 20 and 2 respectively.Through the field trials,the paper could find that the absolute error rate of groove depth and width were within 0.5% after the rotary tillage and reducing the walking speed of the tractor and increasing the speed of vertical rotary blade could improve soil fragmentation.The soil structure was loose after the rotary tillage and the surface of soil was relatively flat,which achieved the design requirements.In the end,the paper put forward corresponding suggestions for demerit of field trials.
