Abstract/Summary:
Buckwheat(Fagopyrum esculentum Monch.)Nutritious,rich in flavonoids and other biologically active substances,is the 21st century,nutrition and health resources.Buckwheat soba is one of two cultivars,the growth period is short,adaptable,barren drought-resistant,and can effectively use light and heat resources,etc.,corporations are minor crops in our food crops,is a good relief and catch crops in arid and semi-arid region is an important food and cash crops.Buckwheat self-incompatibility and cross-pollination characteristics led to its low seed,is an important factor affecting its production.Self-incompatibility is a phenomenon of self are ubiquitous in many plants,cabbage,rape and cabbage and other crops incompatibility studies show that due to the S-locus genes,resulting in the identification of pollen and stigma or does not recognize the role of abnormal result on the stigma pollen germination or pollen tube growth is inhibited in the style,or a combination of sperm and egg can not complete the process of fertilization,and thus can not be well.Buckwheat have the same type of flowers and shaped flowers,the same type of flower is common in wild species.Buckwheat flowers are shaped and includes two types,namely,long style and short style,studies have indicated that the same type of cross-pollination between not strong,only between different types of pollination to fruit.That is the same type of flower selfing or hybrid incompatibility.In this study,the same type of flower varieties and shaped flower varieties as experimental materials to study the hybridization hybridization,and the same type of flowers and shaped flowers between the same type of flower selfing and hybridization,shaped flowers of the same type of flowers and different types of flowers between fecundity,using fluorescence microscopy to observe the different hybrids pollinated pollen development in the case of different time periods after fertilization,to investigate the buckwheat seed and pollen development law,which explicitly buckwheat mechanism of self-incompatibility.The main conclusions from the study are as follows:(1)The same type of buckwheat flower selfing and hybrid seed varieties,seed rate,normal pollen tube growth.(2)Between different types of flowers shaped flower hybrid seed and hybrid seed varieties with high between different types of flowers hybrid seed rates between different types of different varieties of flowers,and the long style female hybrid seed is higher than in the short style of female hybrid seed rate;fluorescence microscopy displayed normal pollen tube growth.(3)The same type of flower shaped flower varieties and hybrids are not self-seed or seed rate is very low,a small amount of solid occurs between selfing or long length style with long style hybrid style.Pollen tube growth between the long and short style styles between the performance of different:hybridization between short style pollen germination,but not pollen tube elongation,which inhibit the site of the stigma;between germination and pollen tube length style hybrid elongation,but elongation of about 2 to style/3 stop elongation,i.e.,in the suppression portion is about 2/3 of the style(between 1 to 1.5 hours after pollination)(4)The same type of flower shaped flower varieties and hybrid varieties,with long style short stamens as female hybrids can firm,while short style long stamens basic type as the female parent is not strong.Pollen tube growth also showed a short style long stamens type with the same type as the female flower hybridization,pollen germination and pollen tube but did not stay in the stigma elongation;while the long style short stamens type with the same type as the female flower hybridization,pollen tube developed normally.(5)Law pollen tube growth are:short style with short style hybridization and short styles with the same type of hybrid varieties of flowers,pollen germination but not pollen tube elongation;after different types of flowers and artificial hybrids pollinated with pollen tube growth fastest type of pollination 0.5 hours pollen tube growth to roughly 2/3 style,and 1.5 hours stretch into the hole near the bead position;followed by hybridization between style and long length style hybrid and natural pollination conditions hereinafter type flower varieties,0.5 hours after pollination pollen tube elongation to roughly 1/2 style,and 1.5 hours pollen tube growth to roughly 2/3 style,but this time with a long length style style hybridization stop pollen tube elongation,natural pollination conditions hereinafter the same type of flowers pollen tube continues to elongate,2-2.5 hours in pollen tubes begin to approach the micropyle;pollen tube growth was the slowest to spend long style with the same type of hybrid varieties,0.5 hours after pollination,pollen tube elongation to roughly 1/4 style,the 1.5 hours pollen tube growth to roughly 2/3 style,but eventually fertilized embryo sac through the hole into solid beads.
