Geese Feeding Experiment For Pennisetum Purpureumschum CV.Guiminyin

To explore feeding value of P.purpureum Schum cv.Guiminyin in production of meat geese,Our paper used Geese as study objects,Pennisetum purpureum Schum cv.Guiminyin as green fodder,Pennisetum purpureum K.Scbumacb XP.Typhoideum Rich cv.Reyan No.4 as check variety,and studied on the effect of geese growth performance,NDMR(nutrient digestion and metabolism rate).slaughter performance,geese quality and serum biochemical indexes after geese fed by P.purpureum Schum cv.Guiminy through feeding experiment,digestion and metabolism experiment,slaughter test,meat quality observation,serum biochemical indexes.In addition,we also studied on the effect of geese to use P.purpureum Schum cv.Guiminyin,and our study could provide scientific theory basis on feeding geese with P.purpureum Schum cv.Guiminyin.The result was showed as following:P.purpureum Schum cv.Guiminyin had high biomass and nutritional quality,and meat geese intake more than check variety in same condition.Average daily gain was 51.45±1.74 per rat,increased by 16.69%compared with check;feed-weight ratio was 4.93±0.18%.19.47%of waste less than check with significant difference(p<0.05).From the results of NDMR,the nutrient index of P.purpureum Schum cv.Guiminyin was more easily absorbed by the geese,metabolic rate of crude fiber was 25.34±0.52%;Acid detergent fiber was 14.39±2.26%;Neutral detergent fiber was 52.44±0.85%;Calcium and Phosphorus was respectively 18.86±0.61%and 11.99±0.92%,increased by 46.22%、77.94%、13.65%、23.83%and 45.33%respectively compared with check with significant difference(p<0.05);From the slaughter performance and meat quality,feeding P.purpureum Schum cv.Guiminyin had some effect on slaughter performance of meat geese,and dressing percentage,semi-eviscerated percentage,eviscerated percentage,breast muscle rate were significantly higher than check(p<0.05).But abdominal fat rate and splanchna ratio were not obvious.P.purpureum Schum cv.Guiminyin had little effect on the meat quality but can significantly improve the meat flavor through the determination of meat color,tenderness,flavor and nutrients.And Inosinic acid was 176.35±0.05g/100g,increased by 31.21%compared with check without significant difference(p>0.05);Feeding P.purpureum Schum cv.Guiminyin could effectively improve the body’s absorption of proteins and catabolism,At the same time,it can improve the utilization efficiency of fat,to promote calcium and phosphorus absorption,to promote bone salt deposition,strengthen the metabolism of animals,to promote the growth and development and the absorption of nutrients,fully support the Taiwan’s elephant grass feeding goose good effect.In summary,P.purpureum Schum cv.Guiminyin with high nutritional value,good palatability,the crude fiber and nutrients could be effectively absorbed by the geese and with the significant effect on geese Weight-gain,they could effectively improved the production performance and slaughter performance of meat geese.P.purpureum Schum cv.Guiminyin would be a high quality forage grass for feeding geese,and they could help us to solve the shortage of green feed in the production of geese industry,further expand the high quality fiber source for geese.Shortly our study would have a highly significance to promote the development of geese industry.
