In order to seek solution of preventing sprouting during storage and losing the value of growing,eating and economy,this paper seed soaking method at room temperature for the first time to explore the two kind of substances Phenylpropanoids of chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid on Favorita(short period of dormant),Mira(long period of dormant)tuber storage and growth.In this study,potatoes of original seed of "Favorita" and "Mira" were used as material,and adopt the seed handling method,studied the different concentration of chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid on potato weightlessness rate and germination rate,the content of malondialdehyde(MDA),reducing sugar content,starch content,amylase and catalase(CAT)activity,and after two reagent treatment growth and yield of potato,for the further development of chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid as to provide theoretical basis for the potato bud inhibitors.The results indieated:(1)At room temperature,different concentration of chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid soak potatoes for 15 min,then observed regularly and took records,and finally found that a certain concentration of chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid can effectively inhibite germination of potatoes,slow down the weight loss and delay the potato hibernation.Different concentrations lead to different germination rate and the weightlessness rate.With chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid concentration increased,weight loss and germination rate declined,4.0 g/L is recommended for the best dosage.(2)Chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid reduced the accumulation of malondialdehyde,delayed the reducing sugar content significantly,the rise of the starch content and amylase activity and catalase activity during storage process,thereby it protect enzymatic defense system,reduce the level of membrane lipid peroxidation of tuber and delay the aging of the potato.(3)Chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid can improve the potato plant height,the differences between the groups was not significant,the concentration of 1.0 g/L and 4.0 g/L of caffeic acid is 7.14%and 4.50%higher than that of CK1 plant height;Different concentrations of chlorogenic acid,caffeic acid can increase fee it thick stems,the concentration of 2.0 g/L of chlorogenic acid thick stems had 7.98%,13.61%higher than that of CK1;The treatment for mira stem diameter difference is not obvious;Different effects on potato number of main stem,no obvious difference between the groups,only the concentration of 4.0 g/L of chlorogenic acid and CK1 significant difference;A certain concentration of chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid can increase the potato branch number,the concentration of 4.0 g/L of chlorogenic acid processing branch number and CK3 significant difference,the concentration of 4.0 g/L of caffeic acid processing branch numbers and CK1 significant difference?(4)Potato potato increase in the number per plant,the concentration of 4.0 g/L of caffeic acid is the highest and has 4.11,the concentration of 2.0 g/L of caffeic acid is lowest,14.47%higher than that of CK1,significant difference was found in CK1,potato number significantly higher than other processing;The potato yield increased as the treatment concentration increasing,the concentration of 4.0 g/L chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid two potato varieties yield increase,the largest and CK1 significant difference;High concentrations of chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid can improve the potato production,but different influence on different varieties of potato crop.L3 increase its output of Favorita is greater than the Mira,and the concentration of 4.0 g/L of caffeic acid is opposite exactly.Chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid can delay the dormancy of potatoes,protect the quality of potato,and also promote potato growth potential and production significantly.The application of chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid to potato storage provided theoretical data and build the foundation for sprout inhibitors of potatoes.
