The red soil region of Southern China is second only to water and soil loss region of loess plateau.Due to anthropogenic and natural disturbances,pinus massoniana forest is one of the most representative forest type in southern China,and pinus massoniana is widely distributed in the red soil region in southern China.One outstanding problem was the scarcity of undergrouth vegetation on pine massoniana forest degradation ecosystem.It has important implications for reaserching the soil limiting factors of undergrowth restoration of pinus massoniana in intensity erosion area for vegetation pinus massoniana’s recovery and ecological restoration in intensity erosion area.The paper took Hetian town of Changting Couty as research area,four different sample plots which vegetation is different on granite red soil region(on)forest land were chose.By investigation and test analysis method,Combined with statistical analysis of test data,research the soil limiting factors of undergrowth restoration of pinus massoniana in intensity erosion area,put forward the corresponding control measures.The results showed that:(1)The comparison of the four plots showed that,the degradated pinus massoniana forest land’s soil degradation was serious,soil physical structure became worsen,the texture of soil was hard and dense,soil porosity was small,vegetation restoration was extremely difficult;(2)The habitat of vegetation affected the recovery of vegetation,Degradated pinus massoniana forest soil bulk density,clay and physical clay content made large contribution to the vegetation restoration,they were main soil limiting factors of vegetation restoration in the study area;(3)By comparing with other plots and found,the degraded pinus massoniana forest land’s nutrient content was extreme poverty,protecting fertilizer ability was poor,and it was unable to coordinate supply plants’ need to grow and fertility;(4)principal component analysis showed that,total N,available P,total P made large contribution to the vegetation restoration,they were the main soil limiting factors of vegetation restoration in the study area,the second is available K and total K;(5)From the point of the total bacteria number of microorganisms,bacteria number on degradated pinus massoniana forest land in intensity erosion area is least,followed by vegetation restoration forest land at eighty miles river,feng shui forest in Luhu had the most bacteria number;(6)Due to soil nutrient barren,unit of each diameter class volume of root surface area ratio was imbalance on degradated pinus massoniana forest land,Coupled with its root number is small,it’s difficult to maintain the normal growth of vegetation;(7)In view of the soil limiting factors of undergrowth restore,it is a priority to put forward solution method:first of all should be scientifically control slope’s runoff;then add soil amendments to improve soil properties aimed at the status of the soil deterioration;the most important thing is to adjust measures to local conditions,scientific and reasonable fertilization;finally combined with artificial strengthen governance,improve the forests soil’s environment,to increase vegetation’s coverage.
