Since the discovery of radon in the last century,it has been paid more and more attention,especially in the past ten years,the measurement of radon in soil has been widely used in many aspects: mineral resources exploration,engineering geological exploration,environmental radon concentration monitoring in relevant departments of nuclear industry,earthquake and geological hazard prediction monitoring,geological structure determination in geological survey,water quality evaluation and so on.The research and development of a radon meter with superior performance is of great significance to the measurement of radon in soil.Each country has a special research on radon Analysis.Based on the characteristics of radon measurement,electrostatic accumulation is chosen as the radon measurement method.The measuring principle and hardware design circuit of the rapid radon measurement device in RaA soil are discussed in detail.Radon concentration is obtained by high voltage electric field.The hardware circuit includes preamplifier circuit,filter forming circuit,single pulse circuit and control circuit.The paper explains the working principle and selection of these circuits in detail.Design of the power circuit to provide 3.3 V,5 V,6 V,12 V,70 V,-3000 V of voltage for the radon meter parts of the normal operation of the basic guarantee.in addition,a little change has been made in the design of the radon meter cavity.the balloon is used as the collection cavity.compared with the fixed volume cavity,when purifying the cavity after measurement,the balloon collection cavity can empty the sample gas in a few seconds,which greatly shortens the waiting time in the field and improves the working efficiency.After the instrument is assembled,the standardized scale is first carried out,and then its performance is measured and analyzed.The accuracy and stability of the instrument are good through sensitivity test,high pressure sensitivity effect experiment,emptying recovery experiment,sampling time saturation test,saturation adsorption time test and temperature and humidity effect experiment.The experiment provides suitable working parameters for the radon meter,which can accomplish the measuring task of the measured point more efficiently when measuring radon in soil.
