Tractor is a common agricultural production tool.The traditional fuel tractor is mainly powered by the engine,which is noisy and pollutes the exhaust gas seriously.However,pure electric tractor has obvious deficiencies in endurance,charging time and battery decay,which restricts its extensive popularization and application.Due to the advantages of fuel cell such as clean,efficient,zero emission and short hydrogenation time,its application to tractors as power source can overcome the two obvious defects of pure electric tractors: charging difficulties and mileage anxiety,it has broad market prospects and social benefits in green agriculture,precision agriculture and other fields.Based on this,the power system and control strategy of fuel cell tractor are studied in this paper,The main research contents are as follows:Firstly,according to the tractor's operation environment and power requirements,performance indicators are designed,and corresponding optimal scheme are selected by comparing several electric-electric hybrid schemes and driving schemes of fuel cell tractor.At the same time,the selection and parameter matching of fuel cell engine,DC/DC converter,power battery,drive motor and other main components in the fuel cell tractor power system are completed.Based on this,the power system components of the whole vehicle are designed.Secondly,according to the actual functional requirements,the software and hardware design of the vehicle controller for the fuel cell tractor is completed,and the work flow for the whole vehicle to power up and down,the energy control strategy for the whole vehicle,and the protection strategy for the whole vehicle and power system components are formulated.Thirdly,the power system components of the fuel cell tractor are redeveloped and modeled by using the simulation software ADVISOR.The simulation results show that the parameters matched with each part of the power system can meet the performance index of the designed fuel cell tractor,compared with similar fuel-fueled tractors,fuel economy can be improved by at least 11.1% and at most 21.8%.Finally,a test platform of fuel cell tractor power system is built,and some bench tests are carried out.The results show that the optimized matched power of fuel cell tractor power system meets the tractor operation requirements.According to the energy control strategy,the SOC stability of lithium batteries is between 60% and 80%.The scheme designed in this paper can provide some guidance for the development of fuel cell tractors.
