With the development of society, people pay more and more attention to the rights and interests of children. How to make children thrive has become an urgent problem.A large number of studies have shown that children can play in the natural environment and actively participate in outdoor games, which can cultivate children's ability to explore independently and make them develop rapidly in intelligence and body.It is necessary to design urban green space which belongs to children's activities.Urban park is the main public space for urban children to contact with nature. The design should meet the needs of children's activities and provide children with space to socialize, exercise, stimulate their creativity and cope with outdoor crisis. However,at present in China, there is a lack of sufficient research and practice on child-friendly city parks. In the past, the design of urban parks mainly depended on the needs of adults, especially the elderly, and often ignored the interest and participation of children. The single type of park, unclear function division, lack of theme characteristics, monotonous landscape facilities and other problems, leading to children, the lack of outdoor activities of the city park itself has become more unattractive. The purpose of this paper is to study the park green space under the theory of "child friendly city ",to synthesize many excellent related cases at home and abroad,to outline the design principles and methods of child friendly park, and to try to apply this theory in the design nodes such as plant layout, water body, road and landscape sketch of the project. The scheme takes into account many factors, such as climate and surrounding people flow, and strives to inject fresh blood into the landscape of Jinyang Street Park to promote the overall theme of the park.
