Along with the rapid development of my country's traffic and road industry,the requirements for asphalt pavements are constantly increasing,and the corresponding material requirements are also greatly improved.Polymer modification is currently the most widely used method to improve the performance of matrix asphalt.Natural rubber latex(NRL)is a renewable resource due to its abundant production,and easy access to local materials.The rubbery characteristics of natural rubber latex are imparted to the asphalt,thereby playing a modification role and realizing the improvement of the existing ordinary asphalt in all aspects of road performance.As the new material and technology,whether the modification effect of natural rubber latex modifier can fully exert the modification effect needs to be fully verified.In this paper,orthogonal experimental design is used to determine the preparation process parameters of natural rubber latex modified asphalt.Through conventional performance,rheological properties and Fourier infrared spectroscopy experiments to explore whether natural latex modifiers can play a modifying role.Through the preliminary analysis of experimental data,it is concluded that the low-temperature performance of natural latex modified asphalt is poor,so SBS latex is used for recovery.With research.Finally,the AC-13 asphalt mixture gradation is selected to determine the oil-stone ratio of the natural latex modified asphalt and the composite latex modified asphalt mixture,and the high and low temperature performance and water stability of the modified asphalt are combined for verification.The results show that the natural rubber latex and the base asphalt have good compatibility.The natural rubber latex is evenly distributed in the base asphalt and forms an obvious network structure,which improves the high temperature performance of the asphalt.Composite natural latex/SBS latex modified asphalt(composite NRL/SBS latex modified asphalt)not only improves the low temperature performance of natural latex modified asphalt,but also improves the storage stability of SBS latex modified asphalt.Both natural latex modified asphalt mixture and SBS latex modified asphalt mixture have excellent anti-rutting ability at high temperature.Natural latex modified asphalt mixture has better resistance to water damage than SBS latex modified asphalt mixture,while SBS latex the low-temperature crack resistance of the modifiedasphalt mixture is better than that of the natural latex modified asphalt mixture.The composite NRL/SBS latex mixture has good high-temperature rutting resistance,low-temperature crack resistance and water resistance.
