With the increase of the buried depth of underground space structures such as tunnels.The surrounding rock of the tunnel in special geological environment will produce complex deformation phenomenon during the excavation process,instability of surrounding rock will pose a serious threat to the life and property safety of construction personnel.Therefore,the deformation of surrounding rock caused by deep tunnel excavation near the fault has attracted Fault is a discontinuous geological structure caused by the accumulation of a large amount of strain energy in rock strata.The surrounding rock of the tunnel is prone to deformation and even collapse under the influence of faults.Therefore,it is necessary to systematically study the deformation and failure of deep tunnel surrounding rock under the influence of fault,Based on a tunnel(7.756 km in length)in Wenzhou city,Zhejiang Province,The deformation of surrounding rock after excavation of circular tunnel is studied by combining theoretical analysis and numerical simulation.The research contents and results mainly include:(1)Through numerical simulation,influence of faults on different locations of deep buried tunnels is studied.The stress distribution,displacement and plastic zone of surrounding rock at different locations are analyzed.It is concluded that the tunnel is the best excavation location when it is 2-D from the upper wall of the fault.(2)By introducing an engineering example,the deformation of surrounding rock after excavation is compared with the data of field monitoring and with the data of field monitoring and measurement,the distribution of stress and displacement of tunnel after lining is obtained.(3)By changing the fault dip Angle,lateral pressure coefficient and the buried depth,the influence of stress,displacement and plastic zone distribution on the surrounding rock is studied,and the critical value of the deep-buried tunnel under each influencing factor is obtained.
