In the process of the highway tunnel construction, the stability and the reliability of tunnel rock is an important guarantee that is ensure safe construction. In the process of tunnel excavation, stress redistribution of rock will occur. When the redistribution of stress is beyond the intensity limit of rock, the rock will cause instability and destruction. Therefore, the stability and reliability analysis of rock is a very important study in construction of highway tunnel.Based on the practice of Bai-ma tunnel engineering on Yu-xiang highway with its displacement and variation of tunnel rock, the paper studies the stability and reliability of the tunnel rock.First, the paper analyzes and discusses rock deformation and failure mechanisms from the aspect of tunnel engineering geological factors. The paper studies the damage types and factors of instability and forecasts damaged areas of different destruction.Secondly, it studies the existing information NATM construction monitoring, monitoring purposes and monitoring frequency. Based on the measurement data analysis, man can understand rock stability of the supporting structure reliability in order to foresee accidents and dangerous situations. Finally, based on the Bai-ma rock tunnel displacement measurement and gray models of the GM (1,1), the Model DGM (2,1) and Verhulst, we establish the tunnel Gray forecasting model of the rock tunnel displacement. Comparative results show that: three models for tunnel displacement generally predictable results. GM (1,1) and DGM(2,1) model are similar to the tunnel displacement of the development model. Application examples demonstrate, it has extraordinary adaptability to the tunnel displacement forecast.
